Shoarma Josi — Restaurant in Tongeren

My wife and child were there a few minutes ago to order some food and all seemed fine, until the chef found out she's Romanian. Although she told me to let this slide, because it doesn't seem like a big deal, racist remarks are a very big deal in my opinion. The gentleman, probably one of the owners of this restaurant, together with his partner, Myriam, or whatever her name is, commented in a quite mean way about out folk and country, talking about how lazy Romanians are, because it seems that someone with this nationality worked for them. And also about how ugly the capital is and how they'll never go back. Well, please don't go, since you only got to know the suburbs of Bucharest and didn't explore the beauty of a country in its entirety. But that's fine, we don't mind you not going. The only bothersome thing about this whole interaction was the slight racism, which from their perspective might seem funny, but it was not. That's not the way one should talk to a client. I have personally been there for a few times, but mostly I chose other restaurants. So I clearly don't know the owners, but I won't set foot again in there. Nor my family. The food was good, but it's a pity some of us are treated with lack of respect, due to our origins. In spite of everything, we are not uneducated people, so I wish you all the luck further in...

Worst pita ever, very expensive just empty bred nothing inside, no idea where the meat comes from, maybe cooked on pen but not grilled for sure. Can’t even put sauce inside like normal people, for some reason received in separate recepaient impossible to eta. Gem of a place! We were lucky enough to find it on a cycling tour of Limburg. Great choice of food....we ordered the mixed grill plate and chicken skewers and both were delicious. The owner and staff were so helpful and friendly. Prices extremely reasonable. Will definitely cone back if we visit...
