Stadscafé Turnhout — Restaurant in Turnhout

I was looking for a restaurant and the Stadscafe Turnhout appears to be a good surprise. The restaurant is located at the end of the main street where you can find plenty of shops. Restaurant decoration is simple and has different plates to satisfy a lot of people including kids and vegetarians. Service was ok. I only took the main dish : pastas (tagliatelle) with shrimps. I was afraid that the shrimps will not be cleaned from the dirt but they was. The dish was really good. . I recommend the place at least...

Food here is really good and very generous portions! The pasta is cooked to perfection, the seasoning is well balanced and the cocktails are very good. I came back here 2x during my stay in Turnhout because the chicken pesto tagliatelle pasta was so good. And of course, the Belgian frites were delicious as well...nice and thick with a nice...

We were a small group of 7. My mom being one of them in a wheelchair. What a fantastic service!!! They helped us from the very beginning. Very friendly and helpful. The five stars are because of the staff. The food was excellent as well but I was mostly impressed by the service. I would highly recommend this place. Nice...
