Excellent restaurant on the main square of Turnhout. When visiting there was a fixed menu where the only choice was between having 4 or 5 of the courses out of the menu. As my wife is allergic a small change was needed on one of the courses and this was done without any issues at all. For drinks there is a possibility to choose to have wines by the glass, paired with the food which turned out to be a great choice. The staff is very attentive and knowledgable both on the wines being served and the food beeing served and everything is done withba smile. Also being greeted in English is absolutely no problem at all. It is recommended to book some time ahead as the place was full when we visited on a Saturday evening, so clearly a very popular place. A beautiful, quaint outdoor patio with lots of shade and open, airy ambiance makes this a wonderful place to dine. Especially paired with the delicious food and wonderful service, this is another must-visit place in Turnhout. The sole meuniere was amazing and there is an option where the dish comes filleted for you. We had a wonderful time here I was really impressed ! The decor and overall ambience was truly special and we felt welcomed by the very friendly staff. Great team ! With regards to the food, we had a delicious three coarse menu of appetiser main and dessert. A special mention to the fish with risotto and spinach that was bursting with flavour.
