Chez Musette — Restaurant in Uccle - Ukkel

We arrived Sunday evening at 1745. It showed that it was open until 2230. However, when we ordered two beers, the lovely young lady (not...) at the bar told us she was no longer taking orders. Really?!? We told her the menu showed it was open until 2230 - she said it was only until 1830. We said we still had time to order a beer: she became aggressive and said this was not the case...Very bizarre, Kafkian experience. Of cours, this is Belgium and you can expect anything, but why keep the place open if you don't plan to sell anything. Why also have an aggressive person at the bar (please fire her). P.S. We were there many...

15.30 on a Sunday, with 3 tables being served, but we were told that they were closed. Didn't really understand.

(update after feedback posted by the owner): As I explained, there were other tables being served while we were told that the place was closed, and invited to leave. There were 2 waitresses (of which none seemed injured). One was smoking outside, the other was serving other tables, as mentioned. As I see that similar comments have been made by other people as well, I guess this is probably something that happens quite regularly and certainly does not encourage potential...

Really nice staff who clearly enjoy their jobs. Drinks were pretty affordable, clearly they are genuinely committed to being a neighborhood venue you want to come back to again and again. Loved the interesting decor which struck a nice balance between bright and pleasant, and also interesting and fun with lots of curios and art to look at. Best of all, the ladies toilets has water to allow you to wash your menstrual cup in the privacy of the stall... such a thoughtful and amazing gesture!...
