VITIUM — Restaurant in Uccle - Ukkel

I’ve been wanting to try this new italian restaurant in Uccle ever since they opened last August and i finally got the chance yesterday. I came to the restaurant with my family with high hopes of eating good authentic italian cuisine and i am happy to say that they did not disappoint. The owner came to the table to explain specials of the day that were off the menu which i think was a very nice touch. I had to try the Filetto di manzo alla rossini which was the most expensive dish on the menu coming in at €42. I have to say tho the price may be daunting but once we started eating it i as a chef myself i understood directly that they were using top quality ingredients for this dish and wow was it delicious. The pizzas were also amazing. And i also highly recommend their tiramisu and to try their izzo coffee. Now is it worth a second visit for me? Absolutely yes. The owner is incredibly attentive and knowledgeable about every dish on the menu. It’s clear he takes pride in what he’s serving and genuinely cares about the experience of his guests.
