I booked a table at Luca over the phone for a special occasion. I arrived with my group of friends, some even from abroad, only to learn that no reservation was to be found. The host asked me numerous times of I mixed up the numbers or the location, until I showed him the number I called - who h is on their IG, Website etc. They did not manage to find a table for us, but sent us to the other restaurant “Dante”.
At Dante, it seems they did not knew some were told to come over and behaved like we were a burden to them an other customers. They asked us to wait at the bar, where they asked us to move and take our face-masks off, as it made other guests uncomfortable. They could have also just checked our vaccination pass - which they did not do.
Later, they sat us in lounge chairs instead of a proper table. On this table, two hours of incomplete or late orders startet, paired with mediocre wine and food. We had to ask for almost everything, besides the bill, which charged us two water bottles we did not have + not even a sorry for the inconvenience.
I know, 1 star is tough, but this was honestly a very unsatisfactory and embarrassing evening for me. I would lot bring friends here again or celebrate any occasion.

The best is for sure the wine selection which was an experience in itself. The wine can be picked from the wine incubator in the restaurant with the help of a knowledgeable and enthousiastic sommelier that provides several suggestions based on your prefered taste so you can try new Italian wines. Read moreI went for dinner and left still hungry -- and I hate that. They gave us a menu with very little choice, and motivated saying that the chef was new and therefore menu was reduced. It should have not been my problem as a client. The dishes on the menu, though, were really expensive. Portions were really small, for the cured meat platter (c'mon guys, a small plate like that???) and the one meat choice on the menu. Pasta plates were ok though. In the end we spent 40 EUR each and kind of had to go for a kebab. And that is how you lose customers, I won't go back there nor will I recommend...
