We have been literally counting days before opening of this new place in Brussels which seemed really cool according to their social media. But when we finally got there on their opening day, we were really disappointed. We arrived at about 16:00 and we were really hungry and looking forward to taste amazing food from the restaurants presented there. However it turned out that despite the announced opening hours almost all the restaurants were closed!! That’s not exactly what you expect from a food court. By the way it should me mentioned that the selection of restaurants is really good. Ok, we managed to find one amazing lady (restaurant Sababa) who cooked for us some really nice Israeli dishes. But the biggest trouble in the Fox is their drinks. As I understand, restaurants don’t provide any drinks. So you have to go to a bar in the centre of the court. And what do you find there? A horrific basic selection, desperately outdated: Duvel, Chouffe, Vedett. Ordinary wine. Standard lemonade. Dull cocktails with Martini and Vodka. And literally that’s it (see the photo of the menu). Normally if you invite such amazing and creative restaurants and suddenly monopolise the drinks (that’s what is happening here), you should offer a nice and creative selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including beer and cider (there are so many cool craft breweries in Brussels!!), and of course natural wines and interesting cocktails, as well as craft non alcoholic beers, kefir, whatsoever. This striking contrast between creative cuisine and ordinary drinks is very disappointing. So to sum it up: the place has some potential, but definitely many important things should be corrected in order to implement a really cool and up-to date concept of the building (which is very beautiful from the point of architecture). And definitely working hours of the kitchen should be correct so that the guest be able to leave the place not...

Love this place! As with other reviews, I list the positives, as well as things that could be better to help improve the service.

Pros very well situated. For years we have visited the Parc Seny nearby including the playground at the opposite end. The downside was there was no cafe or toilet facilities nearby, Fox resolves this and we will definitely come often. Excellent choice of food and the food court concept is unique in Brussels to my knowledge. Slightly expensive (eg €5 for an ice tea from the bar) but given Brussels prices / the location it is not surprising.

Cons Some of the chairs are very wobbly! There are three types of wooden chairs in the restaurant. One type which is like a wavy shape with 3 legs is quite unstable. Both of our 4 year olds almost fell off, and we witnessed the same happen to another child. Make sure you put small children on the stable chairs!!! This is probably not the fault of Fox per se but rather those who run the building overall, but I mention it as it affects Fox customers. The sinks in the toilets were not very clean even at 11am on a Sunday, and most soap dispensers were empty. This is basic maintenance which detracts from the overall impression of an otherwise incredible building. Also not Fox fault but the designer who thought it would be a good idea to put a white carpet in the foyer should be guillotined. It is already filthy and will need to be ripped up soon and replaced with tile at...

This place is a huge restaurant located on the ground floor of the Mix Hotel, but it consists of different food stands. There are kitchens from different countries: Greek, Syrian, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, and so on. We ordered our food from three kitchens: Greek, Syrian, and Japanese. From the Syrian kitchen, we ordered skewers, and the meat was really delicious. They serve the skewers with thin bread and plenty of greens and onions, and since it's cooked over a wood fire, it looked both tasty and healthy. From the Greek kitchen, we ordered mezze: eggplant (which became our favorite) and sweet potato, which was also very tasty. After that, my brother ordered fried fish and chicken, but I didn't try them.

Downsides: You have to order from the stands and get your own food; there's no table service. 🕵🏻 The strawberry tiramisu is extremely, extremely bad; don't eat it. Ours went in the trash.

Positives: 🕵🏻 The taste is quite good. 🕵🏻 There are different options in one place. 🕵🏻 The view is beautiful. 🕵🏻 There's a nice rooftop terrace upstairs where you can go after eating, especially when the weather is nice. 🕵🏻 There's a park nearby, so you can take a walk there before or...

Easy 5 stars recommendation in the erea. This consists of a food court-like restaurant in a very modern building surrounded by many little yet beautiful and elegant ponds. You can pick up your food from the various kiosks, each having their own little menu representing a certain cuisine. Then you can eat your meal on any table. The place is very similar to the wolf in Brussels city centre, however eating options are not totally identical and it is rather busier at wolf. We tried the manhattan burger and it was great. Vegetarian option available 👍🏻 Prices are a bit high : we paid 35 euros for 2 burgers and 2 fries, without drinks. Still I find the price very reasonable considering the experience you get, and the views you have. On their website, they say paid parking is available. however, on my arrival, entrance was prohibited to visitors of the fox. Fortunately, plenty of free parking is available around the complex building, you just need to put the blue disk. Note that other events take place in the building. Overall, very nice experience worth to be saved on my go to eateries in Brussels.
