Completely Unacceptable and Unprofessional Experience

We had one of the most disappointing and upsetting dining experiences we’ve ever had at this restaurant. Upon arrival, we were offered a table and sat down with our two small children, relieved to finally be seated after waiting. After about 20 minutes of waiting at the table, a different waitress came over and abruptly told us that the table was actually reserved and that we would have to leave as there were no other available tables.

We were literally asked to get up and leave, with no apology or effort made to accommodate us in any way. Our kids, who were already tired and hungry, started to cry — understandably so after being made to wait and then abruptly kicked out. The situation was handled with zero empathy, and the staff were incredibly rude and unprofessional.

Mistakes can happen, but the way this was dealt with was completely unacceptable. A simple acknowledgment of the error, a sincere apology, or any attempt to offer an alternative would have gone a long way. Instead, we left feeling disrespected and humiliated.

Located in Woluwé near Rodebeek park, it has that cozy, “millennial burger joint” vibe — think cool decor, relaxed atmosphere, and indie tunes in the background.

The menu’s got loads of variety, which is great if you’ve got dietary restrictions or just fancy something a bit different. Portions are usually generous, so you won’t be leaving hungry.

My favourite? The Green Mango burger itself — nothing fancy, just a simple combo that somehow works so well. Properly tasty.

Now, I have to shout out the potatoes — seriously, they’re amazing. Taste totally homemade, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. And don’t even get me started on the truffle mayo… that stuff should be sold by the jar.

Only thing I’ve noticed lately is the potato portions seem a bit smaller than they used to be, which is a shame. Still, it’s one of my go-to burger places in the area. Definitely worth checking out if...

Green Mango is a favorite burger restaurant of my kids and we order or visit it quite often. I’ve placed an order for take away today but with a change in the reservation system kid’s burgers are not available for order any more, so I left a comment that I want to order also kid’s burger. Also I left a commentary that no onion due to Allergy!!! When I arrived to pick up and asked again to confirm that no onion I was reassured it is not in. However my big disappointment at home- all burgers were with onions! So I had to throw it away((( Apparently non of my comments have been read, kids burger was not ready either and at home I found that no jus, no sauce has been put in the bag, so we have received incomplete order. Big, big disappointment due to ignorance of the staff and passive-aggressive style of communication....
