We visited this Italian restaurant on 4 October 2025, and it was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a perfect blend of authentic Italian charm and modern comfort. The staff were genuinely welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable — you could tell they took real pride in what they do. Every dish was a highlight. The vitello tonnato and the insalata Caprese were delightful. The scaloppine alla Valdostana served with pasta or fried potatoes were cooked to perfection — fresh, flavorful, and the pasta and fried potatoes are clearly homemade. The sauces were rich and balanced, bursting with authentic Italian taste. The pizza was equally impressive (cooked in a traditional oven) and the dessert (tiramisù!) was the perfect finale. The attention to detail, from the presentation of the food to the quality of the ingredients, truly set this place apart. You can feel the passion for Italian cuisine...

When travelling in the US, I was told the best way to have good service at a restaurant is to go there often. This we tried often at Regina, but it seems they just like some guests better than others, and can afford to be condescending towards their guests, despite our spending more on average than other guests around us and all we have heard about the economy shrinking, etc. A shame, really, because the food is not bad and the place is very conveniently located. If you are happy with just average, although slightly arrogant, service, this may be the place for you; if you're looking for a place where people will make you feel welcome, there are plenty of other Italian...

Went there yesterday evening as my husband and I had a hankering for Frito Misto. After living in Italy for 3 years, We have become very weary of Italian restaurants outside Italy :-) Ristorante Regina serves excellent, authentic Italian cuisine. The Frito Misto was fantastic, my husband's ossobucco tender and falvorful, and my polpo griglia was a dream! And to my absolute delight, the prosecco offered before the meal was a Franciacorta!
