While I am partial to a grey shrimp croquette their cheese croquette was far superior. I had the tartare de bœuf as my main which is roughly chopped raw beef (as opposed to an "Americain" which is minced raw beef) and seasoned. They seasoning was lovely, it complemented the meat well without being overpowering. No huge chunks of capers or sundried tomatoes which suited me perfectly 😊. In true Belgian fashion there was a small basic side salad and no other veggies served alongside the beef and frites. Lovely frites btw! Crispy and fluffy.
