Midpoint Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Belize City

My brother and I are in Belize City and decided to try out a local restaurant near Golden Bay Hotel. We ended up at Midpoint Restaurant after checking out the restaurant across the road. What an awesome choice. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered a frozen panty ripper (my first time having this drink-Excellent), my meal was Kuzu Guvec with a fresh salad. OMG! Delicious. Our server, Shanique, was the best we have had since visiting Belize. We did not have to ask her for nothing. She was on top of her game. She checked on us throughout the meal to make sure we were alright. I cannot say enough about her co-workers. While taking care of their customers they stopped and asked us if we were OK. Really? Awesome staff. I finished off my meal with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, drizzled with chocolate. That was one of the best vanilla ice cream I have had in a while. I wish I could give this place 6 stars. Awesome, beautiful, delicious and all the adjectives. We sat at the bar. Four televisions with sports action. I loved it. We ordered one dish, Ali Nazik - it was fantastic, lamb and eggplant- served very nicely. We ordered a couple beers and couple cocktails as well. Draft beers, bottled beers and lots of cocktail options. The owners/managers, Turkish, were great; very friendly. Best restaurant ive been to during my 5 days in Belize City, by far! Everybody were super nice, the gentleman greeting me at the door, the lady who brought me to the patio to ask me where i wanted to sit, and my server, all were smiling and super friendly. I ordered the shrimp alfredo pasta, and i have never seen that many shrimps in a pasta dish, and the pasta portion was pretty big i was impressed. My server Shamira provided examplary customer service, smiling, friendly and checking on me regularly to make sure i wasn't missing anything.
