Go to Ms. Patty’s for food cooked from the heart! I sat with her daughter and little granddaughter, and had the most beautiful experience hanging out and chatting with them. It was the highlight of my cruise at this port after our excursion was cancelled. The food and their sweet spirits will always be in my memories. The creole food was perfect! I ate red beans and rice, chicken and fried plantains. I wish I could have stayed longer to chat with this kind family. My 14 year old son will never forget this experience as well. I found out about MS. Patty’s by her husband Simeon. He drove us around Belize city for a short while. After trying different rums and empanadas around the city we finally became hungry.
