303 Belize Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Belize District

Being from Colorado and wearing my Denver Marathon T-shirt on the day of our visit, we wanted so much to like this place. We stopped in for a late lunch/ early dinner after spending the day at Sunset Beach looking forward to feeling a little home away from home. While the decor was a clever mix of scuba and skiing (2 of our absolute favorite activities!), the novelty quickly wore off with the absolutely abysmal service we received. There was one bar tender and one waitress and my wife and I were the only ones in the restaurant. Both seemed annoyed and put out by our presence. All questions were answered with as few words as possible. Even after expressing my enthusiasm for the restaurant and interest in purchasing merchandise this did not phase them. Food quality and presentation was on par with upscale bar food but as mentioned in a previously review, you cannot expect people to pay a premium for an upscale experience and not have the service to match. Our waitress did the bare minimum function of taking our order and eventually delivering our meal. She never came back to check on us and we had to get up several times to ask the bartender for a things (including the check) throughout the meal. Great food. Great people I recently had the pleasure of dining at 303 Belize Bar and Grill and I must say, it was an incredible experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a friendly atmosphere. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, making excellent recommendations from their diverse menu.

The food at 303 Belize Bar and Grill exceeded my expectations. Each dish was expertly prepared with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavors. The menu offered a wide variety of options, including delicious seafood, mouthwatering steaks, and flavorful vegetarian dishes. I particularly enjoyed their signature Belizean jerk chicken, which was perfectly seasoned and incredibly tender.

Cool spot - felt like we were floating on top of the water in a tiki hut. Fun for grownups and kids - lots of expats letting loose and divers back from a day on the water. My 4 year old loved dancing to live music, watching the bar staff make her fancy virgin punch and walking on the pier while waiting for dinner. Awesome seafood - went back 3 times to eat the blackened seafood trio where you can pick the seafood you want (we LOVED octopus, snapper, conch and shrimp) so much food it was good for 2 people. We also highly recommend the coconut shrimp, almond crusted snapper and fish tacos. Really great service- one night I forgot to order my daughter's meal and they got it out super fast once I noticed my error. It's the kind of place that if you go to once they remember you and make it feel like you're one of the family when you come back. Just talking about this place makes me wish I could eat there again!
