This dining experience was filled with many highlights. The combination of classic favorites and creative twists made for a memorable evening. I look forward to returning and savoring the dishes as they were intended, especially the Grilled Peaches. With its rich flavors and thoughtful pairings, this restaurant is certainly worthy of a visit. A standout star of the evening was the Classic Onion Soup. With perfectly caramelized onions swimming in a rich and flavorful beef broth, it struck just the right balance, avoiding the common pitfall of being overly salty. The depth of flavor was bold yet comforting, making it a warm and satisfying start to the meal. Accompanying the soup, the Charcuterie Board was a feast for the eyes and the palate. A delightful assortment of meats, cheeses, and pickles presented in an artful manner, it was elevated by perfect dressings that enhanced each bite. The combination of flavors and textures made for an enjoyable beginning to the evening, and it paired wonderfully with the onion soup. Moving on to the Steak Tartare, it was undeniably a quality dish, though somewhat basic in flavor. To elevate the tasting experience, I recommend pairing it with the Charcuterie Board. The suggestion to apply the dressings onto the accompanying bread before adding the tartare is a clever and delicious enhancement that truly brings out the potential of this dish. A slight disappointment came with the Grilled Peaches, Prosciutto, and Burrata. The dish arrived featuring pears and plums instead of the anticipated peaches. This change undoubtedly affected the overall flavor profile i was expecting, so I look forward to trying it again in the future when it’s available. The Filet served with Blue Cheese, despite the meat being a bit tough, was full of flavor, cooked to perfection, and had a wonderful sear. On the other hand, the Pork Chop was a triumph. Bursting with flavor and incredibly juicy, it was a delight to savor. Although there was some fat that needed to be trimmed away, the flavors it imparted made it worthwhile, creating a depth that enhanced the overall experience. Rounding off the meal were the desserts, both of which were exceptional. The Chocolate Soufflé was rich, soft, and airy, with the necessity of ordering it upfront due to its preparation time. It was well worth the wait, providing a decadent finish to the meal. Meanwhile, the Key Lime Cheesecake dazzled with its perfect balance of lime and berry accents, complemented beautifully by a creamy sauce that harmonized the tartness of the lime.

It's too bad I can't give more than 5 stars. Go early and enjoy the happy hour in the back. Nice garden bar with tvs for sports if you want but the ambiance for date night on the island is second to none. You can figure out dinner while you wait or some small plate options are available as well if dinner is too far away. There are too many amazing choice and the bakery/deli is about to open as well 06/10/25 So I will just go over what we chose for this meal Iceberg lettuce wedge that my wife and I shared as well as the 2 for 1 Moscow Mules (bonus for getting there early) My wife had the chicken piccata and I had the Chicken Penne Alfredo and the sauce was rich and incredible. But we made sure to leave room for dessert - actually we had no room but soldiered on She had the Lemon Blueberry Souffle and I had the perfectly done Creme Brulee Everything was so well done as Frenchy is a culinary genius and has trained and been the trainer for such for many years and it shows in his cooks and their level of talent. Expect the bill to be a bit higher that other places around the island but expect the flavors to hit the same levels. We will be back again and again.

This was the BEST restaurant in all of Belize that we found and experienced! Beautiful atmosphere and you were waited on by the owners. We ordered a bottle of sparkling wine to set the mood. To start we ordered the steak tar tar. AMAZING! This was the best steak tar tar that I’ve ever had and I’ve been all over the world. This was served truly in the French style. We also got the shrimp appetizer. Wonderful flavor. Caesar salad next but had not really a salad dressing. I’d pass on that. Main course, we ordered the Steak Diane. I’ve always wanted to try this and it beat my expectations. The filet was cooked perfectly, which rarely happens at restaurants. For desert, the soufflé. Beautifully fluffy. The banana foster was utmost enjoyable. Lastly, the chocolate cake. The right amount of chocolate that will leave you too full to finish! We highly recommend this place. It is pricy but for a four star restaurant, it was so worth it. Thanks to the owners. You were the best hosts! We will come back to Belize just to go back to this restaurant! Thanks for the Steak Diane hosts! That was classy. Reservations are required. Dress code: business casual on up.

Ten of my friends and I visited this amazing restaurant as part of my bachelorette trip to Belize. Our dinner here was hands down the best experience of the trip. The owners were fantastic from our first contact ahead of our visit (as I discovered from the ladies that planned the trip) to the very end. Once they knew the dinner was part of my bachelorette trip, they wanted to do something special and unique for me and they decorated our table and the private room we had in the style and colors of my wedding invitation which was such a creative and detailed way to make it feel incredibly personalized. The food and cocktails were all fantastic, as was the service from our waiter (who was also very fun and tolerant of our extremely boisterous energy!)

All of this being said- the absolute best part of the evening was the personalized DJ experience we had with the owner, who was a professional DJ in the 80s (in his native Paris and NY, I believe) and he is very obviously still a super eclectic and talented music head. He played a customized set of hits featuring Marvin Gaye, Whitney Houston, several big 90s artists, country and Beyonce. Better still - at some point this turned into an impromptu dance and karaoke session for our entire group. I’m also pretty sure we stayed quite a bit past their closing time but the owners danced and hung out with us the entire time and made us feel more than welcome. Regardless of your music preference - the owner will happily curate an exciting hit list for your dining experience and is dedicated to creating a wonderful space for those that want to be able to hear the best modern music as well as music across the decades (if that’s your vibe). If any of us are ever back in Belize- we will absolutely be stopping back by...

Picture a beautiful night at a local French Resturant on a quiet night in Belize. You and your friends get dressed up and enjoy a three course dinner featuring escargot, grilled octopus, filet mignon, and crème brûlée. The owner, energetic and friendly, introduced himself. As we were finishing our desert we noticed we were the last customers remaining. The owner, noticing the same, tells us he has a suprise for us. Does he return with a round of drinks or some other treat? Nope. He turns on Gin & Juice by Tupac and returns to our table with his shirt open and begins to grind his mid section on the back of my friend. Alarmed we sat in bewilderment for what was going on. Why was this man in front of us exposing his chest, moving his groin area and bumping rap music? We ask him and he becomes irate and says he is doing us a favor and “playing for the demographic.” Explaining that he shouldn’t assume that we as black women would be impressed by rap music he begins to get visibly upset explaining that we “were making a issue” and should be grateful. Grateful for what? We just spent a thousand US dollars in your establishment and we should be grateful for you and the fact that you played rap music “for us”?! In true form instead of apologizing for insulting and offending us, he was the one who was insulted by our audacity to not see the favor he had granted us. Unless you want to be made to feel uncomfortable through unwanted inappropriate attention and racist behavior - avoid this...
