Izzy's Smoothies, Snacks & Juice Bar — Restaurant in San Pedro Town

One of a number of authentic Belizean buildings left on the island. Yippee!! Fair warning, this is a walk up, order, and go type of establishment, and I LOVE IT!

I have been coming here for years and realize that I hadn't ever written a review. Apologies. During my most recent visit, there were only smoothies and frozen coffee on the menu. That's not a deterrent by any means. On the previous trip, I had a super fresh and yummy egg and pork sandwich on wheat toast, wow! Hopefully breakfast sandwiches will be served again during peak tourist seasons (Christmas/New Year's, US Spring Break, etc.). Nevertheless, I still left happy as ever!

I ordered the banana, mango and pineapple smoothie. I had easy conversation with the owner while my beverage was being prepared. Over the years I'm guessing that I've interacted with all of the family members. Really down to earth people, including the kiddos. My beverage was served, filled to the lid, and phenomenal!! I'm not a banana fan at all, but was craving something on the sweeter side. This hit the mark perfectly. The smoothie was so filling that I had some left over for later.

The smoothies were delicious! I had the strawberry pineapple banana, and my partner had mango pineapple (both were made with coconut water, but there is an option to make it with milk as well). We paid $7-$8 USD for each smoothie, which is cheaper than some of the other places around town; and they also tasted 10x better than the other smoothies we’ve had (that were way more expensive). The portion size was 16oz plus the remainder of the cup lid (think of an icee cup lid filled to the top); so maybe in total closer to 18-20oz. Definitely a must stop on your next visit...

Izzy’s Smoothies is an absolute gem! From the moment we reviewed the menu offerings, we could tell this place was going to be good. I ordered The Rock Smoothie, and it was nothing short of amazing—so refreshing and packed with flavor! My fiancé went with the Island Cooler, which was light, fresh, and incredibly good.
