The Beach Bar & Grill — Restaurant in San Pedro Town

I had an hour before my ferry left and wanted to get a bite to eat. Asked the staff if it was okay to eat here if I wasn’t staying at the hotel. The lady said yes but the man who served me was pretty rude about it. Ordered a chicken wrap anyways, 45 minutes later I was still sitting there without food so just had to give up and go on the ferry hungry. I don’t understand a 45 minute wait for a chicken wrap when chicken was the only ingredient that needs cooking and takes 10 minutes to grill. There were also only 2 other people when I arrived. I made a res at 10 am for 17 in our party. 2 tables@ 7 pm. At 8 pm after we arrived, still was not even a bottle of water on the tables!!! The owner came after us when I said we are outta here. 5 stars from our family! We had a fun time ringing in the British New Year at The Beach Bar & Grill. We called ahead to reserve a table (glad we did) and when we arrived the staff was so friendly. Despite a very busy night we had excellent service, the food was delicious and we were offered a complimentary glass of bubbly for a toast. The live music was also fun. The shrimp curry was so yummy, the steak was cooked perfectly (it is hard to get a good steak in Belize), and the beef patty was homemade....
