Peer's Place Restaurant and Bar — Restaurant in Stann Creek District

Horrible staff. Avoid it at all cost. Plenty of nice local places to chose from. So save your self. The waiting lady was the rudest we ever encountered in any place we visited. Specially if you are traveling with kids. What is even more worrisome is that they have no protocol in place to keep customers safe and socially distant not to share condiments. For our pancakes and burger we were given sticky as hell little syrup left in the pot and a disgustingly dirty spicy sauce bottle. Both of which we did not feel comfortable to touch. Even the salt and pepper pots on the table were soggy mess with actual water inside. And cherry on the cake was the waitress who talked to us as if our presence was annoying her. We asked if the sandwich we ordered can be cut into half for our toddler kids and were told to do our ourself. Not that it was a big job but the way we were answered and treated was horrible. And then one of the main ingredient of another meal was missing, when we reminded her of it, she just said well she forgot it and now it will take 10-15 more minutes to het it. No apologies what so ever. Needless to say we left empty stomach never to...

This place deserves zero stars. Not only is the food terrible but the owner was unbelievably rude. My table had a few questions about the menu/special of the day and his responses were sarcastic and off putting. Our biggest mistake was not getting up and leaving at that point. I ordered the curry chicken and it tasted like orange chicken from a Chinese restaurant (how?!). The special of the day was a very bland fish burger. The sauce on the chicken Alfredo tasted like it came from a jar. We all took only a few bites of our food and were ready for the check. My friend informed the owner that she didn’t like the Alfredo and he shrugged it off and walked away. I’m in actual disbelief how this establishment is still in business.

Do yourself a favor and walk a few steps further down to Ella’s Cool Spot to get authentic delicious food served by locals that actually deserve and appreciate...

Spagetti had been good, but...why she ask, if we want anything else, our friend answered a bread would be good to have and she said!!! you have Spagetti, why you want bread. Absolutly 'no go' for a restaurant. Rude attitude...maybe russian...ofcourse not important, as they answered now on my report. I appologize for my suspect and I can say, that I know a lot of very nice russian people. We had been interested in where she comes from, as we travelled around the world since 8 years and had been in a lot of countries. Rude answer from her. But she can keep this as a privat secret, where the roots are, ofcourse...not interested anymore in this place. Also, because owner turned of the light before we finished the drknks, what they selled us before...without a word or warning. Bad manner...you can thank yourself for...
