Fu Lu Shou - Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Thimphu District

The restaurant is located in town earlier now shifted to Thori lam just below DGPC office.

Visited this very recently after lockdown. Though it was Friday lunch time, there wasn’t many customers.

FOOD & Service: This one is one my favorite Chinese restaurant in Bhutan so far. The food is as good as the one which you get in one of the Chinese specialty restaurants in India and Bangkok, and prices are reasonable too as compared to them.

Ambience – Simple and quite comfortable seating. They do have meal sets and A la carte options.

Menu items are limited but have whatever they have are best they serve.

Service: Service is quick and the hostesses were helpful and attentive.

So i recently visited the restaurant, the service was really disappointing and for the food i don’t even know where to start…. The interior was alright but they not were careful, the food had plastic and hair. Hygiene? Nil. They even served us melted ice cream, tsk tsk. I have heard it to be mostly visited by tourist/ foreigners but with this service i am not sure how they are still in business. Also while we were eating, they kept clearing the utensils, i mean who does that; we were not even done. Such pathetic treatment oofoof. I honestly hope yu improve your services and follow food safety...
