Biergarten Restaurant — Restaurant in Farmington

My husband and I had a date night here right before Valentine’s Day. We felt welcomed as soon as we stepped inside. The person working the register was so nice! We had never been there before and he had a lot of great recommendations.

I decided to try the special. It was a mashed potato bowl with delicious chicken, corn, gravy and more. I loved every bite! My only complaint is that it was tiny! If I hadn’t eaten a late lunch, I would have still been hungry. I felt like for $12, it needed to be bigger.

My husband got the pork nachos and the flavors were incredible! The portion size was great, the price seemed a little high, but we’d get these again. He also got a beer (the one specifically for lagoon) and loved that as well.

I loved how they decorated for the holiday. It was cute and fun and gave the place a great ambiance.

If you want to try this place without paying a huge price tag (lagoon ticket + parking), then go before lagoon opens for the season. I highly suggest...

We love eating at the Biergarten at Lagoon. First, the atmosphere is fantastic. It feels more relaxed and removed from the rest of the park. Its a nice break.

They have large tables that fit groups and a lot of indoor dining space, which is nice when it's hot.

The food here is our favorite part though. The prices are around $15, but you get so much food, and it's good quality.

Our favorites are the pretzel (which is like 2-3 of the standard pretzels and comes with beer cheese), the pork carnitas nachos, the pastrami burger, fish and chips, and the berry salad. The schnitzel is also pretty good, but I'm not sure it's worth the price.

We also love the selection of beers they have on tap here. The Lagoon-a-Pilsner by Unita is unique to Lagoon and fun to get. If you don't drink, don't be intimidated by the beer service. It's like going to Texas Roadhouse or Wingers or anywhere else they are...

Kae, the lady who runs the Biergarten Restaurant is unprofessional. When she knows her workers are sick and can’t work and have shown medical proof they can’t work, she will schedule on shifts they can’t make. Trying to communicate and let the management team know what is happening with said employee is nearly impossible and only the supervisor on shift, not upper management (Kae) cares on what’s happening with the ill employee trying to push through a shift.

The employee could have responded in better ways, but when a MANAGER is lacking basic managing skills it’s ridiculous and very unprofessional.
