Honestly don’t understand the rave reviews. This place is cramped, the food is mediocre (and far too salty), and the service is lethargic - it took over an hour for our food to come. There are only about six dishes on the menu.
In terms of atmosphere, the tablecloths and wall decorations are nice, but the Muzak versions of 20th century pop they play on loop do not add much to the ambiance.
There’s also a draught coming in from the sliding door which customers don’t seem to know how to properly shut. Very annoying.
In all, a bit of a disappointment.

The soup is served dramatically with a hot stone, and looks like one of those videos where freaks put hot metal in peanut butter to listen to the pops. The owner was so friendly I thought I’d been spiked with Molly. He taught us some Quechua, obliged a picky German (bloke didn’t eat onion, Christ almighty), and showed us his stones (minerals from the mines, head out the gutter please). If you’re looking for soup and a good time, look no further, Señorial is the...
Read moreWe took kalapuka vegetarian version and the traditional meat version plus tortilla. The kalapurka is very generous in terms of quantity and it takes at least 1 hour to cook. We ended up eating very late but it was worth it. I could not finish kalapurka due to its generous size but the tortilla was one of the best I had so far. I was already full after kalapurka but it kept coming into my mouth. The place is very small but it’s adds the local & authentic ambiance. I highly recommend but go there before you are hungry if you order kalapurka and you are very hungry you might be waiting for more...
