My husband and I came here for our second anniversary dinner. First and foremost the location is absolutely stunning. The aesthetic of the restaurant is totally gorgeous, visually appealing, and gives upscale vibes. My husband is native to Salvador, however I am American. For an upscale restaurant they absolutely should have a menu in English- as this is the most common shared language spoken my many international travelers. We were at a more casual restaurant earlier in the week and even they had a menu in English. I thought it was odd that the server stood near (not right next to, but still hovering) the table while we deciding on drinks. That could be cultural and totally acceptable here, but it made me feel rushed. The food was OUTSTANDING. The best food experience we had on our trip here. We were very pleased with everything from apps, main course, and dessert. I was a little bit upset they did not have an espresso martini on the cocktail menu. As an Italian restaurant I was sure they would, but sadly no. When my husband made the reservation he told them it was our anniversary. We were not given anything complimentary for this- which again, in the US is pretty standard if you are celebrating something. At the very least, they could have wished us a happy anniversary. Overall, because the food was SO very good i am giving 4 stars but i will be honest and say if it wasn’t for the food i would...
Read moreA very good restaurant.
The food was great, as it would be in Italy.
The cocktails were also very well made and with high quality ingredients.
The location is gorgeous. The decorative is beautiful.
Points I disliked: only one bathroom for esch gender isn't enough. In this price category in such a big restaurant with many guests, I find it insufficient.
The service was ok, but hostile and not pro-active.
I had to wait a lot. Always had to order a waiter to take my order - instead of being asked proactively.
I do recommend it for anyone...
