Bar Duda Rei — Restaurant in Região Geográfica Imediata do Recife

PLEASE DONT GO THERE. Here is our whole experience: the first day, we wanted to order there but the waiter told us that you couldn’t order if not sat in their restaurant (sat under an umbrella in the beach). Not only that they were particularly expensive, but they also argued that you had to pay before ordering (which has never been seen in a restaurant). As they seemed very picky, we ordered somewhere else. The next day, we went back to the same beach and finally ordered there because they were the only one having the « iscia de peixe ». The meal costed us 165RS, for a fried fish with no side. 16.5RS we’re added to the bill for service, while they asked us to come to the counter for paying and the « waiter » was not working for them but another Umbrella company. After eating, we wanted to have a shower on the beach just to get the salt out, and they refused, arguing that we were not sat on their chairs. To sum up: super expensive and very very very rude manager. We’ve been in Brazil many times and never experienced neither such prices nor bad service. Please order to the next bar or just flee...

We were a family of 6 and spent almost 1.000 reais with food and drinks, high for Brazilian standard. We sat for about 2h for lunch and then, left back to the beach. After less than 5 minutes, my sister went back to use the bathroom, but she wasn't allowed. The cashier who keeps a key for the locked bathrooms, refused the access saying my sister was not a customer there, even though we spent some good money there. My sister left the restaurant very disappointed with the rude service. I don't recommend this place, which takes advantage of being the only one on Conceição beach. It is worthier to walk a bit further and enjoy the sunset at Bar do Meio. I wouldn't give any star for the...

Minha recomendação é: evitem esse local. Existem outras opções na praia da conceição mais próximas ao bar do meio.

Além dos preços serem extremamente caros, (pratos pra uma pessoa na faixa de 190/200 reais - pela fotos que vimos são realmente pra uma pessoa acreditem) também foram muito deselegantes conosco. Chegamos no local com nossa mochila de bebidas e fomos bem recebidos pelos garçons. Nos foi informado que era necessário consumir pelo menos 200 reais para poder pegar o guarda sol e as cadeiras. Até aí tudo ótimo pois iríamos consumir esse valor. Nos instalamos e começamos a tomar a bebida que levamos na mochila térmica. Estávamos próximos de pedir a comida quando um dos garçons, a pedido do dono/ gerente, nos abordou informando que teria que levar nossa mochila térmica lá para o bar, pois não era permitido consumir o que não fosse do bar. Achamos totalmente incoveniente primeiro informar que iriam levar nossa mochila e segundo não ter nos avisado desde o início sobre as regras deles. Regras ridículas, pois iríamos consumir o valor determinado, mas a ganância de querer tirar o máximo do cliente falou mais alto e falaram que não poderíamos ficar lá bebendo nossas bebidas, mesmo consumindo os 200 reais. Óbvio que pegamos nossas coisas e fomos embora. Achamos a abordagem tão absurda que nesse e nos outros 4 dias que fomos a praia da conceição passamos reto pelo bar. Ou seja, não recomendo o Duda Rei de forma alguma, existem outras boas opções na praia próximas ao bar do meio. Procurem que vocês não irão...
