Ordered an omelette and had very bad food poisoning after. Ruined my holiday.

All I ate that day was the food at your restaurant. Either your staff are not washing their hands and cleaning the kitchen properly, or there is an issue with the food itself. How rude and unprofessional to suggest I am lying or that what I experienced is not your responsibility. Your defensive response says everything people need to know about how you handle genuine customer concerns.
For clarity: I visited Capitu Café around 8am on Tuesday, 22nd April, before heading to see Christ the Redeemer. I ordered an omelette with turkey and tomato. By 12pm, I started feeling very ill and was experiencing full-blown food poisoning shortly after. I was so sick and weak that I had to cancel the rest of my planned excursions, ruining my holiday, and I also had to endure a 10+ hour flight in that condition.
I left my review to warn other customers and to highlight that there is clearly an issue that needs addressing. Whether or not you have heard of this happening before, you are hearing about it now — and instead of taking it seriously, you chose to be dismissive. Perhaps your kitchen standards have slipped. Compliments to the young English-speaking waitress, she is very polite and helpful. After 15 min. as soon as I got my coffee, the waiter went to get my coffee, which was half full. After him 3 min. another male waiter came to take a half-full cup of coffee again, to which I told him to take it away, paid the bill and I will never enter this bar again in my life. The service is disastrous, I have visited many bars in Asia and Africa, but I have never experienced such bad rude service. Our server messed up our order three times on a simple side order of white rice and then tried to charge us for his mistake. Beyond this, they brought out my other side orders 10-15 minutes after this photo of my half empty plate was taken. These would be errors I could look past if it were not for the fact that he told us the dish was not available but I suspect he simply forgot what we ordered and brought out a different side dish to replace it, without even asking if I wanted it.
I had to talk to manager to get this fixed but staff was dismissive, unhelpful, and had there back turned to us while using their phones.
