A higher end restaurant with gorgeous outside seating.

Be aware: the entrance is higher up the street than you'd think from the map.

We waited about 5 minutes to be seated, then about 10 minutes for appetizers and maybe 10 more for entrees after we were finished with those.

The food was delicious, the portion sizes are a bit small so to get full you'd have to order entree+appetizer. My only complaint is that the steak tartare had some dollops of sauce that seemed like mayonnaise – in my opinion, didn't fit the dish very well.

The atmosphere and the view is the strongest point of the restaurant – the whole place feels like a quiet isolated corner on an otherwise pretty active and noisy street. Maybe a little more outside lights would help in the evening times, but I loved it either way.

This is a very beautiful house with a great atmosphere. Their meals are prepared with selected ingredients making them quite special. Location is also excellent just by Igreja da Gloria. I highly recommend a visit to this restaurant. My partner and I went with some friends and we have all enjoyed the food. Their meals are well served and they all look very good. The desserts have also been approved by everyone in the table. This place has definitely got in my list of top restaurants to go in Rio. On a second time, I went for brunch and it was delicious. Sobre meu momento lamentável! Em pleno dia das Mães, no momento de me reunir com minha família tive um momento lamentável na Casa da Glória. Cheguei às 9h30 da manhã e a minha família foi a última a ser chamada para uma mesa, mesmo tendo diversos lugares vagos, somente sentei para tomar café as 11h30, e isso porque eu pedi para falar com a gerente, me senti desrespeitada e nada acolhida. Não fiz a reserva, mas fui informada que chamariam por ordem de chegada, como fomos a primeira família a chegar no local, aguardei, vi família por família ser chamada, e nada de chamarem a minha. Quando identifiquei que o local estava com lugares vagos e a minha família era a única que não foi chamada na fila de espera, as 11h15 da manhã comecei a desconfiar que algo de estranho estava acontecendo, vi 10 famílias que chegaram depois de mim entrando e nada de me chamarem, não sei se foi coincidência, mas éramos a única família negra na fila de espera, esse fato precisa de atenção, pois quando eu perguntei qual era a probabilidade de sermos chamados me disseram que não teriam chances, foi onde chamei a gerência, quando fui informada que estava tudo lotado, mas a realidade era outra o local tinha várias mesas desocupadas. E então resolvi me posicionar pois estava há duas horas esperando para tomar café em família para comemorar o Dia das Mães. Que presente que a Casa da Glória me reservou, mais um momento de constrangimento e falta de respeito. O local é lindo realmente, a comida é boa, agradável, mas precisam melhorar o atendimento para com os outros, sem distinção ou preconceitos, pois foi assim que me senti.
