The place was recommended to me by a friend. It was so-so, but not a 5.
The restaurant is rather small and quite cramped. The atmosphere it's noisy and although I was sitting with my partner in the corner of the room, it was hard to talk. There were a few tables outside but I didn't like the surroundings and the noise of the cars. The offer is mainly meat steaks, but there is also fish. Side dishes are served in the form of 'Rodizio', i.e. waiters carry a dish with a given side dish and serve small portions to those who want it. Thanks to this, you can try each supplement in small portions, many times. That is nice experience. I liked almost all of them except 'Polenta', however my Partner liked ONLY sweet potato puree and apple puree.
As an appetizer, we ordered the beef "Croquete". As main meats, we ordered the "Chateaubriand" (Coração de Filé Mignon) and "Escalopines de Filé Mignon" steaks - both good but not wow - not worth the prices. The evening ended with the desserts "Gateau de Chocolate Fondant" and "Crème Brulée Clássica". The first one is not as good as I expected, also during the talk with waiter I was sure it will be with icecream, but it was with Whipped cream (not sweet at all). I recommend Creme Brulee.
We had 2 pineapple juices which I was very disappointed with - 1/4 cup was froth and the other 3/4 was juice cubes which left me drinking something watered down. For a restaurant with such reviews, I expected a delicious 100% juice, a full glass. At the end we received a bill with wrong items (which is more than we ordered) and an automatically added tip of 13% (that's right, not 5, not 10, not 12, only 13 when serving 2 people, not the whole group).
The ratio of price to quality of products and services, I consider inadequate. The quality does not match the price.

Read moreI am not one to write reviews or complain about restaurants, but in this instance I feel the obligation to warn future visitors about the huge fraud that this place is.
I am Brazilian and visited this place with family and a foreign friend. The waiter explained to us everything about the way food is served (one orders a cut of meat and sides are rotating). They explained the “house special” with so much bad faith that it is truly disgusting to write about it.
They presented the house special and said that it is the only cut that they have that can serve 2 people. They clearly stated that that cut was 180R$ (which is already more than incredible/fancy all-you-can-eat steakhouses in Rio). They clearly stated how they would cut the meat to serve two people. I noticed that most other cuts served only one person and were about 120-140R$, so the “house special” seemed to be a great deal (supposedly at 80R$ per person).
Long story short, the check came and they charged 180R$ per person for that cut, totaling up to 360R$ (an unreasonable amount of money in Brazil and even inside that restaurant). I pointed out the 100% discrepancy with the waiter, who blamed the misunderstanding on us (three distinct Portuguese native speakers).
All in all, it is truly sad to see how this restaurant treats customers with disrespect, both by fooling them through speech and by serving mediocre food.
I would not come back and would recommend you to find a better steakhouse experience in Rio (there...
Read moreFantastic steaks — extra points for having it cooked rare, just like I asked. Fast, friendly, English speaking service, they were very caring and always made sure we're enjoying our food, super warm and smiling attitude, loved that; however the girl who greeted us was very hostile and grumpy. All their steaks come with superb side dishes (unlimited) that waiters bring out of the kitchen freshly cooked, it was difficult to stop eating as they taste so good and it's easy to lose the track of how much you've actually had and next thing you know — you're very full and can't take no more :) their chocolate fondant cake was in top 3 desserts we've had in a long time, simply out of this world. If there was only one thing I could add is that if you're looking for an upscale dining experience, then the atmosphere is not exactly it: during our visit there was a noisy crying baby (the restaurant is quite small and things like that really interrupt your conversations and ruin the peace) and people sitting next to me who had their feet with the shoes on on the sofa etc. but it was of course nothing too significant to have ruined the night. Would love to...
