Had dinner at Fresh&Good and the overall experience could’ve been good if not for some bumps in the road.

Food was good, good portions and the price - although the restaurant is expensive bordering on overpriced - was softened by the acceptance of Chef’s club discount. The vibe of the restaurant is also cool and laidback, the music was a tad too loud for my taste but the DJ was good.

The main issues were: service was slow, even by brazilian standards; we were not informed before the bill arrived that the restaurant charged a BRL10,00 artistic couvert for the DJ. As mentioned, the DJ was good and me and my partner would’ve paid it without a problem if we had been forewarned. However, the absence of such warning felt dishonest and disingenuous, which bothered us a lot. When we notified our server, he made a face and began to argue, but eventually admitted we could just not pay for the couvert - since there is legal precedent - which we ended up choosing.

The non-alcoholic drinks were all abusively expensive.

Does not live up to its name. They were super busy so maybe they’re better when it’s quieter, but everything took a long time and was not worth the wait.

The batter on the shrimp popcorn was gluey and undercooked with no seasoning whatsoever. Tasted like they dumped some flour on boiled shrimp and didn’t even bother heating the oil before they were cooked.

Mains were not much better. Fries stone cold, cheese on the burger still hard. Pasta not drained properly so it diluted and ruined an otherwise fine ragu. Decor and ambience is nice at least. Wrote this to fill the 15 mins we’ve been waiting...

27.02.2023 dinner with friends ! Ceviche was awful , cesar salad had dry chicken , carbonara more noodle soup than pasta , salmon with lemon risotto was very good But the worse thing was service. Restaurant was almost empty and we was waiting to be served about 20 minutes only for drinks . The waiter ( inside his hand had small tatto ) was not interested in us at all . He was checking his phone all the time and doing nothing .! Awful!.We called other server and he was excellent His name is Igor ! Helpful and very friendly hence one star more.Thanks for safe our dinner Not coming back...
