Nice ‘boteco’ atmosphere with a good variety of dishes from Brazilian Northwestern states on offer. We tried several of the fried appetizers: ‘dadinhos de tapioca’ (granulated kassava and cheese cubes) served with pepper jam; kassava (the 'macaxeira' from the restaurant's name) dough ‘coxinha’ filled with chicken; minced sausage ball filled with cheese and banana; and pumpkin ball filled with dried meat. All crispy, all tasty, all pretty big too — especially the ‘dadinhos’, a recipe that is quite fashionable atm, but not often as good as here. For entree we had ‘Baião de Dois’ (rice and beans mixed with chunks of different types of meat and ‘coalho’ cheese), offered with ‘manteiga de garrafa’ (liquid butter). All very appetizing, even if flavours are made milder, adapted to Southern palates. The 4 desserts sampler was too sweet for my taste, and the coalho cheese that could have balanced the sugar was unfortunately drenched with sugar cane syrup. The sweet ‘dadinhos de tapioca’ served with dulce de leche were delightful, though! We also tried two non alcoholic tea drinks, and both were delicious. On a Monday evening the place was quiet, and service was attentive and fast — everything arrived onto the table still hot. A good experience in all aspects.

We went for lunch and we had an excellent experience! The place is beautiful, well decorated and with a great atmosphere. There are tables inside and in the exterior area. Plus, there is a bar counter that you just have some drinks. :P One of the most famous and typical dishes from the northeastern of Brazil is "Baião de Dois", made with a combination of beans, rice, bacon, onions, sausage, curd cheese, bottle butter and a very special mix of spices. I already had the opportunity to eat it locally and in some other places and I could tell that the one from Macaxeira is very close to the "original". Keep in mind that the dishes are well served, so what meant for 2 feds 3 or 4 easily. The service is quick and attentive. They helped to suggest some options to eat/drink. The real and well known Caipirinha(drink with sugarcane liquor, lemon, sugar, and ice) is absolutely fantastic! The price is fair to the quality you are having. It's not cheap. Accessibility: it's accessible for wheelchair users and it has an adapted bathroom.

The service and food at the restaurant were excellent. Unfortunately I did not have enough time to eat all of my meal because I had to prepare for my flight. When I opened the container I discovered that what I had at the restaurant was missing the parts that made my meal excellent. The flavorful side dish, peppers and salad dressing were all missing turning an excellent meal into a disappointment. I double checked the takeout bag for large holes but there were none. Clearly someone put no effort into putting it all together. I really hope the management gives the team there some guidance on this for the future.

Cardápio somente no QR Code. Todos atendem todas as mesas. Um pega o trabalho do outro no meio do processo.
