How does this place have a 4.5 rating? I should have taken it as a sign that it was empty.

This place is poorly managed. The staff are terribly inattentive and so is the manager. I was one of two tables seated in the whole place and they barely treated me like I was even there.

The food was very below average and overpriced too. On top of that, no attention to detail.... No cloth napkins at the table, I ordered a soda water with ice and lime but it wasn't served with either, and when my drink was empty, I was never asked if I wanted anything else. There were three people all haphazardly serving my table, and the only person who offered me anything else asked if I wanted dessert but only after I had asked for the check and he arrived at the table with the bill and the credit card terminal in hand. No, I don't want a dessert with my credit card in hand...

They are in desperate need of customer service training and an upgrade in the kitchen if they are going to survive.

If you want good Italian, walk a few blocks to Braz Trattoria just down the road on Dos Pinheiros. Lido could learn a LOT from the servers and...

Service is good but a bit on top of the costumer. drinks ok and wine list is well priced. nice starters well seasoned mussels without being spectacular. the pastas are very good fresh well seasoned. Restaurant should improve their organisational strategy in relation to reservations

Bit cheeky asking for a coffee and getting charged for a cafe gourmand.

As I see the owner has focused on my café gourmand comment. Maybe he might want to comment on the poor management of tables where you are asked to move. This is a comment that has been made by other patrons. clearly a strategy.

Maybe the restaurant want to be a bit more humble towards honest and fair reviews rather than petty, annoying and not-picking. That is the difference between mediocre and good service. Between and average and and epic...

O Lido é uma trattoria em Pinheiros com cozinha genovesa, ou seja, traz-nos pratos tradicionais do norte da Itália, da região de Gênova, marcados por peixes, frutos do mar e legumes.

Seu ambiente é exíguo, dividido em uma parte superior com algumas mesas e um balcão com vista para a rua, e outra inferior com uma mesa maior, compartilhável, ambos atendidos por uma brigada de bom serviço e por uma comida de ótimo sabor.

Falando em comida, a refeição começa bem com a focaccia genovese (R$72,00), acompanhada de parma, stracciatella pugliese e mostarda de figo, e a focaccia di Recco (R$68,00), recheada de queijo stracchino.

Quando comparadas com a focaccia pugliese (da Puglia, sul da Itália), diferenciam-se por serem mais simples e finas, sendo a de Recco recheada com o queijo stracchino.

Ao lado delas, o carpaccio de polvo (R$92,00) estava fresquíssimo, saboroso, em uma cama de batata cozida e muito bem temperados com salsão, pimenta rosa e salsinha.

Das massas, a testaroli (R$68,00) é tradicional da região da Ligúria, assemelha-se a uma panqueca, é feita com farinha de trigo, água e sal, e cozida em uma forma de ferro fundido chamada “testo”, que dá nome ao prato. Aqui, veio ao pesto de manjericão, manjerona, pinoli e queijo tulha.

O pansoti in salsa di noci (R$78,00) é tradicional da Ligúria e consiste em pansoti, um tipo de massa recheada, geralmente em formato triangular ou meia-lua, servida com um molho de nozes. Aqui, veio com vinho branco e recheio de preboggion (uma mistura de PANCS, folhas, ricota e tulha) ao molho de nozes e manjerona.

O tagliatelle funghi porcini e grana (R$74,00) tem a massa fresca e vem com molho de cogumelos (Porcini Italiano, Eryngui, Shiitake, Champignon de Paris e Portobello), queijo tulha e perfume de tomilho.

Em minha ida, havia ainda o risoto de lagostim como especial do dia. Delicioso!

Dos doces, a torta caprese (R$34,00) é uma torta de Capri, que não leva farinha. Apenas chocolate, cacau, amêndoa e avelã dão origem a algo inacreditável!
