Metta Pais de Araújo — Restaurant in Região Imediata de São Paulo

This is the best restaurant for lunch in all of São Paulo! We found the place through google maps and based on the request it could only be good. It was amazing! This is a hidden gem behind the big street containing noise and cars but at this location it’s quiet and really cozy. The vibes at the restaurant are so cool, the interior as well and the service is awesome.

We went to Metta two times during our visit in the city. The bread with avocado and salmon is so delicious and works very well with the juices they have. It’s possible to create your own juice and I definitely recommend this. A special combo is lemon, ginger and honey. The place is one but Mecca of healthy food. The salad is a great option to fuel up during the day and the chicken Pie, that we got specially recommended by the owners father were really amazing. You gotta try this!

O ambiente é pequeno, mas bonitinho. Chegamos pelas 14:00 de uma quinta-feira e escolhemos opções de saladas “para matar a fome”. Demorou mais de 30 minutos para ficar pronto, sendo que a casa já estava praticamente vazia. Talvez uma opção mais rápida seja o “SALAD BAR”, por R$34,90, onde você monta a salada a sua escolha, porém não tem opção de proteína animal, aí você paga a parte. Minha salada foi a JUSCELINO, que na foto do Instagram e no menu constava um mix de folhas, porém somente veio alface crespa verde e roxa. Também esqueceram o pepino ao molho oriental na minha salada, sendo que depois trouxeram o pepino (murcho) em cubos, e a atendente falou que o molho oriental eles já haviam colocado antes, mas sinceramente não senti nenhum gosto diferente. A outra salada que escolhemos foi a LEOPOLDO, que também só veio alface crespa, com lascas de salmão defumado, sem muito gosto. Outro problema é que ficamos na área “coberta” mais aos fundos do restaurante, porém começou a chover e sentimos gotas de chuva caindo em nós! acho que São Paulo tem outros restaurantes com a mesma proposta que são melhores.
