INNSiDE by Meliá São Paulo Iguatemi — Hotel in Região Imediata de São Paulo

Hostel like experience. I really avoid writing negative reviews but I have to say I was disappointed with this hotel. I stayed here for more than a week. It really needs an uplift in all areas. The interior hallways and rooms are dated and a bit depressing. Small and lacking any extras that help out travelers like coffeemakers for all rooms and additional coffee. The elevator is small, claustrophobically small barely enough for one person and luggage. A colleague of mine got stuck for over a minute. The quality of food is average to poor, I ordered a couple of dishes and didn’t finish them then avoided them after that. The service is lacking and is sometimes adequate but at times it doesn’t seem like they care at all about their guests. The inroom snacks are not great. The shower pressure is excellent but it’s impossible to not flood your entire bathroom with water afterwards. The Wifi is spotty and at times is unreliable. There are better choices in São Paulo and even Airbnbs are better than this. Unfortunately all of my colleagues agreed. Not one of us (5 in total) enjoyed this hotel and we are International...

I stayed here for 2 weeks and did NOT have a good experience.

Realistically, this is just an average 3 star hotel.

Rooms are a little bit old, and you will hear a lot of street noise, so if you are a sensitive sleeper, this is not an ideal hotel.

No complimentary water in the rooms.

Internet is horrible. You can’t do any work with the internet connection. The free internet is almost unusable and for the paid internet, you get charged per device. Can easily stack up to an extra $100 per night if you have a couple of phones and a laptop. Bad thing is, even the paid internet is bad. I can’t even FaceTime with my family using the paid internet. Connection drops out every 10 second. 2/5 wifi bars in all of my devices in the room.

Breakfast is pretty basic and average, they don’t even have eggs or omelettes yet it costs an additional $60 per day. Coffee is self served via a cheap auto coffee dispenser so no brewed coffee.

Laundry doesn’t operate on weekends.

Staff are very slow and don’t speak much English. Service is poor and service is extreme slow. If I come back here, I will defiantly...

Elisangela stood out for her friendliness, attentiveness, and cordiality. Thiago impressed with his constant smile, courtesy, willingness, and agility. A true masterclass in service at an excellent level, reflecting the refinement of INNSiDE. The breakfast items were tasty, varied, and plentiful, ensuring our complete satisfaction.
