St. Chico — Restaurant in Região Imediata de São Paulo

I gave this venue three stars based on the service I received on the two occasions I patroned this venue.

The first time was takeout. I ordered two cups of coffee, 4 cheese breads, and an egg brioche sandwich. This cost over 100 reais. The bread was soft and moist and so were the eggs. The cheese bread was cooked just right. The coffee was good but the staff didn’t provide sugar or napkins. Proving condiments, like sugar, and napkins are important, especially when you pay R100+ reais for a simple breakfast. I didn’t appreciate that oversight and I didn’t get to drink coffee with sugar. The dined-in the second time I patroned the business. I ordered cheese breads, a neopolitan croissant, a cappuccino, an expresso coffee and a box of Toddy chocolate milk. I spent over R150 reais. With access to sugar, my coffee was delicious. I appreciated the barista suggesting I add cinnamon and chocolate to my cappuccino because they added extra nuance to my beverage. I thoroughly enjoyed my cup of coffee. The neopolitan croissant was absolutely delicious because it had the perfect amount of Italian seasoning, which combined well with the gooey mozzarella (I think) cheese and tomato slices. They toasted the croissant, too, so that was the cherry on top, for me. The texture of the croissant seemed authentically French because it was not chewy like bread, instead it was light and flaky. Unfortunately, the cheese breads were over cooked. While the top was cooked well the bottoms were hard. I did not enjoy that. In addition, the cheese breads tasted saltier than the ones I ate the day prior. I did not enjoy this meal. Considering the price of the food, I expected a higher quality of service (sugar and napkins for to-go orders) and properly baked goods (softer or more evenly baked...

Excellent bakery! All the breads look wonderful and everything is made in house. The cappuccino was the best we've had in Brazil! Very friendly personnel. Some even speak English. Depois de 4 anos como cliente e indicando para varias pessoas, ontem tive uma experiencia ruim.

Pedimos sempre croissant no delivery porque vem super bem embalado e é sempre gostoso.

Ontem foi diferente: os croissants chegaram descascados e a textura nem de longe era a mesma (opiniao minha e da minha mulher). Achando ser um erro pontual, fiz uma solicitação no ifood induzindo que haviam enviado um croissant "de ontem" ou "velho". A resposta foi negada rapidamente e dito "todos os produtos sao frescos".

Ora, se um cliente antigo reclama de algo, deve se dar a atenção. Nao houve nem tentativa de enviar outra coisa nem nada. Liguei para expressar meu descontentamento e tambem recebi uma resposta seca do atendente.
