At The Eagles — Restaurant in Sofia City

Absolutely wonderful restaurant on the 18th floor of an inconspicuous building. What surprised me is that there is no sign (or I didn't notice them). If I had not looked for recommendations in advance, I would never have even noticed that there was a restaurant in this house. Just enter the lobby, take the elevator to the 18th floor and you are inside. It's comfortable here, very friendly professional staff! The food is tasty, the portions are sufficient. And, of course, the main thing that distinguishes the restaurant is a panoramic view around the entire perimeter. Even in rainy weather it looks impressive. We went for a dinner with friends. At the beginning we were impressed of the Sofia panorama, which is amazing. Then you see the dirty windows and the interior style Balkanturist from the communist era. There are a second room with a private party at that day, which is separated only with a door, where smoking was allowed with no ventilation and the whole smoke came into the main restaurant in a way, that at the end of the dinner my eyes cried. The menu look interesting, but the quality of the food does not responds to the level they pretend. The tune fish was deep frozen and full of water, the asparagus was dry, the octopus in the three fish meal was like 3-4 cm?!?

All in all, nice to go for the view of Sofia with a drink, but not...

I've never felt so unwelcomed in a restaurant.

Dear management, when a customer goes to a restaurant, it's also for the service. If I would have liked an unhappy face before eating, I would have stayed with my ex-wife and I wouldn't have come here.

Unfortunately, the food was really below average. The foie gras was nice, but the plate was cold and it wasn't a nice experience throughout the whole dish. I've been missing some quality bread for this dish too.

Please skip the lamb chops, too cooked and rock hard. Well, here it would have been my ex-wife who would have been happy to find a rock hard piece of meet ;)

Go to another place, the view is not worth the bad service...
