Bar Friday — Restaurant in Sofia City

I want to report a very serious and disturbing experience that happened at this establishment. During the night, I witnessed a tourist, who, although visibly drunk, was not exhibiting any aggressive or problematic behavior, being thrown to the ground by several members of the security team. They then proceeded to violently assault him, kicking him while he was defenseless on the floor.

When I tried to intervene to stop this injustice, I was met with a completely disproportionate and abusive response from the security guards, who appeared to be under the influence of narcotics. They threw the drink I was holding (a bottle of water that I paid for within the same establishment), verbally insulted me, grabbed me by the hair, and one of them even spat in my face. Everything was really aggressive.

I called the police to report this aggression and abuse of power. However, the security guards supported each other in denying the events, and one of them even threatened me in front of the officers. Additionally, a person connected to the aggressors made a statement against me, trying to unjustly blame me.

This situation reveals a shocking lack of control and professionalism among the security staff, as well as a serious abuse of power that cannot be tolerated. I do not recommend this establishment to anyone who values their safety and respect.

One of the best places in Sofia. It is very crowded at the weekends, working every night till there are people. Everyone is friendly, lots of tourists from all over the world and even if u go there alone it is certain that u'll find company. No dress code, no inhibitions and no one's gonna kill ur vibe. At 10 pm it's already crowded so if u go without a reservation, ladies don't wear big bags or clutch, backpacks are ok so ur hands will be free to hold ur beverage. At the wardrobe u can leave only ur jacket. Music is a mix of everything, and friday/saturday mostly it is hip hop and rnb, some dubstep, minimal. I would give 0 stars if I could. Stay away from here. Bar staff only allow tourists to purchase premium drinks and when questioned about this become physically violent. I asked for a local Bulgarian beer at the bar (I even pointed to where it was located in the fridge) I was presented with a more expensive beer, Heineken. I said no I’d like the other one please, pointing again to the correct product. I was met with ‘no, you can leave now, bye bye’ He then refused to speak or serve me and told his colleagues to do the same. I then asked a colleague what the problem was and why his colleague was being so hostile. To my surprised I was then slapped around the face. To avoid more trouble I left the club.
