We were starving. Not for food. For real coffee. And we found salvation here.
After weeks of bouncing between mediocre espressos and milk drinks that tasted like warm regret, we finally stumbled into this little temple of coffee perfection. It was like finding an oasis in the Oman desert. We didn’t just drink coffee here. We had a spiritual awakening.
We ordered an iced latte and an americano. That first sip? Transcendent. The iced latte was pure velvet, with milk that had clearly been hand-selected from some kind of dairy utopia. The espresso? Smooth, rich, layered. Not a trace of bitterness. We actually paused and looked at each other after the first sip, like, “Wait, did we just find the best latte of our lives… in Bulgaria?”
Then came the americano. We’ve had hundreds of them across dozens of countries, and this one? Easily top three of all time. Maybe top one. The barista didn’t just pour hot water over espresso. He composed it. This man had what could only be described as a PhD in coffee. Not honorary. Earned. With distinction.
And the guy himself? Electric. Passionate. Glowing with purpose. He spoke about beans and regions and roast profiles like someone who had lived inside a coffee cherry for years and emerged reborn. We were convinced he was the owner. He wasn’t. Just someone who deeply cares. About the craft. About the ritual. About your cup.
Now, we’ve seen some reviews complaining that it was 6 leva. To those people, we say: DO NOT come to America. These drinks would $12 in San Francisco before the healthy worker mandate tax. And it wouldn’t even be this good. You are not just paying for caffeine. You are paying for art. For care. For love.

Read moreI am a big fan of vegan cakes so I wanted to give it a try while visiting Sofia and I wasn’t disappointed. The prices are a little bit higher but you get what you pay for. The girl who was working there was super nice. She made me Frappuccino with Colombian farm coffee with oatmeal milk and not the usual Nescafé and it tasted outstanding . So if you are looking for a healthier version of Frappuccino and pastries this is the place to try...
