Picked the place because I had heard of it on previous trips to Kampot. We ordered fish tikka and Laal maas (lamb). Fish tikka was made with the local snake-head fish. It was fresh and delicious. Laal Maas was a bit on the sweeter side, with rich gravy (it must be spicy with thin gravy, but I suppose it’s made to suit the resident westerner palate). The lamb meat was tender, well-cooked and delicious. Gulab jamun was a bit disappointing as it seemed to have been made from a ready-to-eat packet available at Indian grocery stores, despite the wait staff assuring me it was made from scratch.

Read moreVery ordinary Indian food served by totally incompetent staff. I have been there 3 times now mostly because friends have wanted to go there.
