Max Bar & Kitchen — Restaurant in Kampot

As a long term expat, and 2 years in Kampot, I finally got to try Max's. EX chef,hospitality 40 years n retired.i don't go out to many places. I can cook 😂 Omg, I'm never going elsewhere for italian, I has the scollopini ..sensational, cooked to soft perfection . My companions ,likewise were very happy. Just only One exceptional floor staff member, that had I still be in the food game I would try to poach, that managed a 30 seat FOH with barely raising a sweat and professional manner to any request whatever ..5 star food 7star service ....

The staff were so friendly. The view is nice. An overall lovely restaurant on the river. I had lasagna, it was above average. I do need to try to pizza as I've heard it's the best in town so I must confirm this on my next visit.

After reading reviews had to try it and definitely didn't disappoint me. Being half Italian very fussy. Brushetta was a great starter and had the special linguine Crab , not only beautiful tasty but a huge serving for very cheap price. Buona Buona Buona and was nice to meet Max...
