This is one of those places when you read. They have been voted "Best breakfast" in Abbotsford you just need to check it out. Sorta tucked into a little alley just off George Ferguson, Ann Marie's is a pretty cooly decorated 50s style Cafe complete with black and white checkered floor tiles and red vinyl booth seating as well as alot of car decor on the walls. When we arrived the Cafe wasn't full, but was pretty busy even so we got a seat right away and the waitress was super friendly and took our drink order, however didn't give us a menu. For first timers it was a bit confusing until you notice the QR code in the center of the table which will link to the menu, I did notice a few customers with standard menus so I guess if that's your preference you might need to request one (not sure) either way not a huge deal. I ordered a standard breakfast of a couple eggs over hard (like my eggs very dead) ham and potatoes with a side of sourdough bread. My wife ordered the stack em up pancakes, with two sausages, two bacon, two eggs, and two huge pancakes 🥞. Was it the best breakfast in Abbotsford? I'm not sure. Honestly, I find breakfast offerings from Cafe to Cafe to be pretty similar. But I can tell you the portions were generous for the price, and we'll seasoned and tasty so no complaints. My wife actually have to pass half her breakfast over to me due to the size of her pancakes they are large and filling. The topper to Ann Marie's was the service we received from our waitress. Without getting into too much detail I had surgery on my shoulder and while dining it was causing me pain, which made me wince and rub my shoulder and chest, our waitress noticed my discomfort and came to our table to ensure I was OK and not suffering from some sort of medical emergency, just a small gesture but very appreciative of her concern.

My recent Sunday brunch experience at Ann Marie's Cafe left me thoroughly impressed and satisfied. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the stage for a memorable dining experience. Another highlight of Ann Marie's Cafe is their commitment to using high-quality ingredients. The freshness and quality of the produce and ingredients were evident in every dish. It's clear that the chef and the team at the cafe take pride in sourcing the best ingredients to create their culinary masterpieces. Overall, I can wholeheartedly recommend Ann Marie's Cafe for a Sunday brunch experience. The combination of a cozy ambiance, delightful menu options, attentive service, and high-quality ingredients make it a standout choice. Whether you're meeting friends, enjoying a leisurely brunch with family, or seeking a quiet moment to yourself, Ann Marie's Cafe is the perfect destination. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Rather disappointing considering the ratings. I went with my friend on Sunday morning, we got on the waitlist before leaving the house and our table was ready when we arrived. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I ordered the bacon and eggs breakfast and my friend ordered a Benny. We both got pan friend potatoes which might be the worst potatoes I’ve ever had. They were soggy and flavourless. I requested my eggs were dry scrambled and they were not. The white toast had a weird flavour. The hollandaise sauce tasted like it’s from a bag. Overall the food was just not good and I’m shocked by the current rating. The workers were so so so kind and constantly tending to tables, our glasses were always full and we never had to wait to ask for something.

I wish I had known about Ann Marie's Cafe sooner, or I would have came there more often. This restaurant has been in Abbotsford since the early 2000s, and I have not known about it since it was easy to miss. This is a notable 50s nostalgia diner with delicious food. I ordered the daily special which was the Blueberry Pancakes with Bacon and Eggs. The pancakes were fantastic, bacon was cooked to perfection and the scrambled eggs are piquant on their own. The coffee was good and fresh. The service is a little slow, even when the restaurant almost vacant. The 50s decor is at a bare minimum, but is still eye-catching. I look forward to coming back to Ann Marie's.

Staff are friendly Dinner feel, very sweet setting. Got breakfast, definitely not fast. Took nearly 30mins get our food that wasn't really much better then a dennys down the street. Thought I try seasoned panfried potatos with onions. Got one single strand of an uncooked red onion no seasoning! Boyfriend got a "skillet" but food wasn't in a skillet??? Food is so much better cooked in a skillet... Open building so it got noisy, maybe some sound barriers do a quick fix. Thought it was funny to find a old cook book on their window ceil, maybe they could bring those recipes into their kitchen. Simple foods still can be flavorful.

This place has a retro feel to it, when I got there the place was already packed with people. Staff was really friendly and makes you feel like home. their booth are really unique and feels like you traveled back in time I ordered the Veggie patties burger made with black beans. I got to say their veg patties is really good (Im not a vegetarian) the beans mixed in their patties gives it a very unique taste like no other veggie patties. Their fries are lightly seasoned with salt. It was really fluffy and crispy. Would def recommend if you are in the area. Follow me on my food adventures, Instagram: davytsai92
