My wife and I have been coming to the Greek islands since we were in our teens. We are both in our fifty’s now and I still look forward to eating here. A family run business that cares about its roots and strives to put customer service at the forefront. Because we have been coming here for so many years, I think I have had every dish on the menu, I have my favorites and go to’s, can’t go wrong with the Thallasopita, seafood deliciousness. Nikko definitely still has a passion for his families restaurant and it shows in the quality of the food and the genuine attitude of the staff. You get a generous portion for your hard earned buck, I’ve never left hungry. Cesar’s are dangerously delicious. Thanks again Greek Islands, you made our Valentine’s Day a very special evening. Valentine’s Day 2024. Stuffed mushroom caps, a Greek Caesar for him and Australian white Gewürztraminer for her. Greek salad and a Thallasopita for both. So good. Crunchy veg, savory roast potatoes (seriously OMG!) and the best rice. The seafood phyllo pillow was heaven on the palate. Thanks Greek Island for another fantastic evening of fabulous food and drink.

This is a great Greek restaurant. Both locations are. I always adore the interior design of the restaurant, since it is a more Greek-oriented establishment with its white column supports and the sky-blue painted walls. The food and service at this location is excellent. I had recently ordered the Salonika Combo, made with prawns and chicken sautéed in vegetables and topped with peppercorn sauce. The portions sides are plentiful and delicious. The vegetables are seasoned with Greek spices and coated with oil for a flavourful sensation. The roasted potatoes have a notable lemon taste. The peppercorn sauce is magnificient and tastes so good with the main course. My only nitpick about this location specifically is the parking is very limited and small in space, which made it hard for me to maneuver. Aside from that, I would recommend Greek Islands for anyone who enjoys fine dining or Greek food in general.

For us coming from Burnaby , it is really a hidden gem . The service offered by Sirene was diligent, courteous and very professional. Excellent Greek culinary and a huge variety of dishes in the menu . I had scargots and dolmades and my family had chicken and lamb souvlaki, exquisite beef lasagne, Greek salad, chicken stir fry teriyaki and roasted lamb….. all dishes well presented, generous portions and delicious . The crème brûlée is very good and also the chocolate cake . Prices are very affordable . Wine and cocktails are great . Appreciated the conversation with Nico the owner/ manager , who is very attentive with customers . It is a place where we have to go back pretty soon …..

There are some restaurants that you go to that really don’t need additional reviews to endorse how fabulous they are. I do feel compelled after being treated so kindly and welcoming by owner Nico as well as served so efficiently, professionally and warmly by Kerry ( hope that’s the correct spelling). Kitchen staff certainly deserves as much of these accolades as the aforementioned. We ordered the Greek platter for two and brought home as much as we ate. That’s how significant the portions were. It was absolutely delicious and without fault as a newcomer to Abbotsford, it is now my go to place for all future visits when dining out with my lovely gal.

Super disappointed. We ordered two combinations and some others on skip the dishes. The combinations were steak and calamari, and chicken skewer and calamari. What I didn't expect was that in the box of chicken skewer, I found a shrimp tail, which was obviously eaten by someone. During the covid-19 period, I thought it was scary because I found leftovers from other people in my box. What does this mean? Also, I asked for the steak to be medium, but it looked like it was fully cooked and it was hard to chew. I have two friends who recommended it, but I am disappointed, I probably won’t visit again.
