To start the night, I ordered the Afghani Chicken Lollipops and the Tasty Tacos with fish!

The tacos, wow, beat my expectations! Packed full of flavour, nice piece of crispy fish and a well balanced kick to it!

The Afghani Chicken Lollipops weren't my favorite as I felt like they lacked spice and flavour. They were trimmed and cooked well but it was missing that little extra something that Tasty is known for!

To pair with our starters, we started with the Mango Chamomile Sour, a gin based egg white sour cocktail and the Mister Truffle, made with truffle infused bourbon! Both were amazing! I particularly enjoyed the Mango Chamomile Sour!

For our mains we ordered the Lamb Vindaloo, the Mango Chicken Curry (one of my all time favs), with garlic naan and raita.

The lamb vindaloo was cooked very well, great level of spice and flavour that you'd expect from a vindaloo. The Mango chicken was also cooked very well and it balanced out the vindaloo perfectly.

The garlic naan and raita were both good with decent portions of both.

I paired my dinner with the "2pm in Goa" a tequila based cocktail with guava, agave, honey, ginger and coconut! This cocktail is definitely on the sweeter side but it went down great with the spicy vindaloo!

Now, onto the service... for a busy opening night, it was great! We were greeted and seated immediately. Our server came over and introduced herself, asked us if we had any questions and let us know she'd be back shortly.

From the time we were seated, to the time we were served our mains only an hour had passed! Not once did we feel rushed, we were suggested several items and drinks throughout the evening, and we were attended to through the evening promptly!

I wish I had room for dessert because I really wanted to end the night with the Cardamom Dream Bar... guess that'll have to wait till next time!

Overall,...

We recently visited Tasty Indian Bistro in Abbotsford, hoping for an enjoyable dining experience, but unfortunately, we left disappointed. We had good experience about their Delta location but our visit to this location didn’t live up to the expectations.

Firstly, the music was incredibly loud, making it difficult to have a conversation without shouting. It seemed more suited to a club than a restaurant. It’s one thing to create a lively atmosphere, but the volume was overwhelming and uncomfortable.

The food, sadly, also didn’t meet the mark. For a place with “tasty” in its name, we expected flavors that would stand out. Instead, the dishes lacked the depth and freshness of authentic Indian cuisine. Some items tasted bland, and others were overly greasy. We left feeling unsatisfied and questioning the quality we’d heard so much about.

On top of this, the space felt very congested. The tables were crammed close together, which, combined with the loud music, made the experience even more stressful. There was barely any room to move without bumping into other tables, which made the environment feel more chaotic than cozy.

Overall, we came in with high hopes, but the loud music, disappointing food quality, and cramped space left us feeling let down. It might be better suited for someone looking for a loud, bar-like atmosphere, but if you’re after a relaxing dining experience with great food, this might not be the...

We went for dinner as we wanted to try something new on our trip. Although the food was okay the hostesses made the whole experience worse. We had ordered for some dishes with the main hostess came back again and again to give us updates of what was happening in the kitchen and when our dishes would be out. She came multiple times to update us of the situation and I was left wondering what it was all about as we were discussing our plans for the next day and eating and she was constantly interrupting us asking us questions etc. The server in fact is a very well behaved and polite lady who after serving us the dishes excused herself and left us to enjoy our meal. It was not only very rude but I consider it to be bad service as we would call them if needed but these girls ( I wouldn’t call them ladies as they are very young ) would not leave me and my husband alone. After we finished we were desperate to go and realized why they were not only dressed so formally (if you know what I mean ) but also had so much make up on. It’s cause most of the clientele is older men from a certain part and they like the attention given to them leaving huge tips for the girls. We do not bother with all usually but this time it became a hindrance to having our dinner and chatting amongst ourselves to plan and it has no only irked us then but left a very bad taste in our mouths. Will not be visiting again or recommend to...

Tasty Indian Bistro is a gem for anyone seeking an unforgettable Indian dining experience. From the moment you step in, the ambiance sets the tone for a warm, upscale, and authentic feast. The decor, a blend of modern elegance and traditional Indian aesthetics, immediately elevates the dining experience. The food is the true star of the show. Their butter chicken is a masterpiece—creamy, rich, and bursting with flavor. The naan bread is fresh, pillowy, and the perfect companion to their delectable curries. For spice enthusiasts, the lamb vindaloo is a fiery delight that packs a punch without overwhelming the palate. Vegetarians aren’t left behind either—the paneer tikka and dal makhani are both perfectly seasoned and comforting. What sets Tasty Indian Bistro apart is their attention to detail. The ingredients are fresh, the spices perfectly balanced, and the presentation is impeccable. Their drinks menu also complements the food beautifully, with mango lassis, refreshing cocktails, and a great selection of wines. The service is top-notch—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, making you feel like a valued guest. Whether you’re looking for a cozy date night spot, a family gathering, or a place to celebrate special occasions, Tasty Indian Bistro delivers on all fronts. It’s not just a meal; it’s an experience that leaves you eager to return. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended!

Vancouver quality dining in the Valley! We had a top-shelf experience at Tasty Abbotsford which included their gorgeous, new, spacious dining room, an efficient, affable service team, and flavours that reminded us of innovative, mind blowing South Asian meals at Vij’s and My Shanti, which used to dominate this culinary space. Our NYE dinner starters were chaat papri and veg Manchurian, appies with tantalizing textures, and were washed down by a crisp sangria and a pale ale from BC‘s best craft brewery, Four Winds. Our main course included the butter chicken and chef’s featured lamb of leg, along with naan and rice. There’s a reason that butter chicken is on the top of their menu— it stands well above the rest. The lamb Sikandari was uniquely presented and unctuously delicious. My only regret is that by the time this sizeable portion arrived, I had filled up on all the other flavour bombs on our table, with little room to spare. And speaking of the tables, the brightly coloured marble inlay table tops of the semi-private, half-circle leather booths are really eye-catching. By the end of dinner, we were completely satisfied with every aspect of the experience! Plus, our take-home bag was full and provided us with a second, equally delicious meal at home. Given what we ordered, there would’ve been enough food to feed four people. We will look forward to returning soon with friends!
