As avid breakfast enthusiasts, we were excited to try the new breakfast offerings at Schnitzels, recently added to their menu within the last month. Having visited this establishment numerous times over the years, we’ve always appreciated the high-quality schnitzels served with a delightful homestyle touch. I’m pleased to say that their breakfast did not disappoint.
From the quality of the ingredients to the prompt service, every aspect was impressive. The flavors were rich, the portion sizes were generous, and the staff were both friendly and attentive. Schnitzels may be tucked away, but it’s truly worth seeking out. The quaint dining room adds to the homey ambiance, and the owners are consistently warm and engaging.
We’ve never left Schnitzels disappointed or hungry, and their breakfast is just as noteworthy as the rest of their menu. While the breakfast comes highly recommended, I also encourage trying their appetizers and other offerings. The transparency of their menu, complete with pictures of nearly every dish, ensures there are no surprises—just great food at fair prices.
We will undoubtedly be returning, and I wholeheartedly recommend giving Schnitzels a try. Their hot, fresh coffee is the perfect complement to a fantastic...
Read moreDelicious! How schnitzels should be; made by hand. You could hear the chef pounding the pork with a mallet in the back. Sign of fresh made schnitzels. I had the Jack loaded schnitzel burger and it was crispy, not too oily, well balanced, and tasted very fresh. We also had the goulash but I would suggest you omit that as it tasted like it came from a can, but the actual schnitzel meals were delicious. The deep fried mushrooms though were very good. The flavour was deep, it wasn’t soggy, and also tasted fresh. If there’s anything I’d change about the schnitzel meals it would be that I’d prefer more veggies either on the burger or on the side. An obviously very fat-heavy meal. The fries tasted a bit overcooked and like an older oil but otherwise nice flavour.
Service: Owner is nice. They are a family run restaurant and there was only the owner who was waiting tables, doing takeout, and bussing, so the service was slow but understandable.
Atmosphere: In terms of atmosphere it’s nothing special. I wasn’t a fan of the tiny ketchup packets. Would’ve preferred a bottle. I also think this location used to...
Read moreI recently visited this cozy little spot on a friend date 😄, and I have to say it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, perfect for a laid-back catch-up without the noise and rush you find in many other places.
Now, let’s talk food. If you’re a schnitzel fan, you have to try the one with black pepper sauce. It’s perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and that sauce adds just the right kick flavorful, comforting, and seriously satisfying.
We also ordered the zucchini fries and chicken wings, and both were excellent. The zucchini fries were golden, crispy, and surprisingly addictive. The chicken wings were well-seasoned and tender, perfect for sharing.
A special shoutout to Sonien, who took care of us during our visit. Friendly, attentive, and always smiling Soni really made us feel welcome and at ease.
