If I could rate my experience zero stars I would. Having never been before but recommended by friends and my boyfriend as the best in town we went to this location for dinner tonight. They weren't too busy, aside from us they had two other tables. We quickly placed our order and waited for our food. The boyfriends food came out right away and thinking mine was following told him to enjoy his food. 25 minutes later we're still sitting there waiting for my meal to come out. In the meantime a family of four, and two sets of couples came in and all received their meals while we sat there and waited. They then brought it out and quickly walked away. My boyfriend got up to pay and asked for the food to be boxed up so we could take it home as he'd finished and we'd been made to feel awkward enough with my having sat there through everyone else getting their meals. We asked to have it boxed up and ended up waiting another 10-15 minutes. The waitress brought the food out said thanks rather curtly and briskly walked away. Over all it was an awful experience and while we're aware our business probably doesn't effect them that badly, we won't be returning and hope everyone else chooses and much more customer friendly location for their...

Nikko used to be my favourite sushi restaurant in Abbotsford. I moved out of town and came back for a family members birthday and suggested it since it had been a while. The experience was not what I was expecting. We were seated promptly but that's where the good service ends. We gave our orders to a young lady who's mouth was very full with food, she was unable to say "Can I take your order?". When the meals came, I figured my rolls were coming as they took longer to make. 2/3 of my order never made it to the table. I had to approach the waitress to pay for our meal even though we had been done for a while. When I mentioned all the missed items I got a weak apology with a "Would you like that packed up to go?" They managed to get the items on the bill, but not to the sushi chef. Staff frequently stood at the display or sat at a table next to the kitchen on their phones and we never had anyone come by and ask how the food was. I don't know what happened, but I know I won't be returning or recommending...

I had a religious experience here.

I love sushi, and have tried a bunch of different places, but this is the first where I truly saw divinity with my stomach.

I ordered a bunch of different rolls, mainly salmon and Tuna. The Negitoro roll was so fresh, I could have sworn it was caught when I ordered. The Salmon I ordered were immaculate as well.

Their spicy sauce is truly special, and while I opted out of the spicy mayo, as I thought it wasnt anything special, the other red sauce was sweet, spicy, and full of Umami.

The Red Dragon roll, which I ordered when I asked for the Chef's Favorite, was truly art. It was as pleasing to the eyes as to the mouth. Very fresh, very filling.

The beef Teryaki tasted like mom would make. Fresh, smoky, flavorful, and with no corners cut. I only had a tiny bit as I shared off of someone's plate, but if I were stuck on an island with only that, I may choose not to call for help so as not to share.

10/10. Ignore the rest,...

It was a great cozy restaurant in Abbotsford! About 15 seats or so. The staff was amazing, very friendly and accommodating. they allowed us to occupy a table of four at their busy time, as we (2 of us) had a baby stroller with us. Very considerate. The food was prepared in a reasonable time. The sushi’s were impeccable!!! So delicious with flavors bursting through, with the deep friend jalapeño on one and the sauces. Similarly. takoyaki was so warm to bite, with some cheesy filling. You can taste the authenticity. Absolutely impressive, probably the best sushi in town!!! The beef ramen, not so much. It tasted very mediocre, so that’s a no from us. It tasted bland and the flavors weren’t there. I will definitely come back for the sushi again.

I stopped in here while waiting for the doctor at the clinic in the same strip mall. I had the roll combo and the spicy tuna sashimi. Wow! The taste was excellent. The rolls were about the yummiest I have ever had. The sashimi was great too, but there was not as much as you would get at somewhere like sushi California. The restaurant was clean, not very busy, and the service was fast and efficient. Overall I gave it 5 stars because even though I would not call it cheap, it was of very high quality. The ownership has changed in the past 6 months or that is what I was told, so older reviews might not be accurate.
