I typically order from Laziz via SkipTheDishes or DoorDash, but today was the first day I ordered directly from the restaurant. Every single order up until now has been fresh and delicious. I would even go as far as saying this was becoming my favourite Indian restaurant in Abbotsford. So I'm not sure why the quality and taste diminished so drastically with today's take-out order. I had a variety of dishes and none of the food tasted fresh. It seemed like it was several days old. The raita was sour and I couldn't eat past the first bite. The shahi paneer tasted "off" and visually, you could tell the texture of the curry was spoiled. Even the galab jamun was hard and rubbery. This was our go to indian food place for a few months until we started having a couple issues. I have emailed to get the issue resolved but have not had a response and its been almost 2 weeks. First issue was with the samosas being extremely oily and undercooked, which was new because they were perfect every time before. Maybe the oil wasn't hot enough or something. My biggest issue is when I found a piece of hard white plastic on my pizza. I really want to know how this happened as it concerns me greatly.
