Review Indian and picture. Restaurant strip mall: A few people asked me about a review so I thought I'd put it out there. I am a good cook but do not know that much about Indian food. It’s actually fun to learn. Grade B+ overall. I ordered everything mild. I have to try out a few more restaurants for better comparisons. Five meals $34 Chicken tikka masala large Grade A. $17.00 came with 2 tandoori oven cooked naan and papad- Elephant ear pastry. Chicken was perfect big chunks very moist with onions and peppers. The naan was soft and tasty. Papad deep fried crunchy and tasty. The meal also came with a small dry cabbage and pickle salad, we mixed this with the sauce as we ate worked out nice. Fish pakora $8.00 grade A. Fantastic flavor big pieces, green chutney and yogurt tartar sauce both excellent. Fish 20% overcooked you need to eat this quickly or reheat in a preheated air fryer for 2 minutes. Still fantastic. Mango lassi. Grade A. Was a yogurt drink, this from a guy who doesn't like yogurt, spice on top, very tasty. Samosas vegetable grade A they were big tasty my daughter’s favorite, chicken aren’t available yet. Veggie pakora. Grade? My daughter and wife liked them, I’ve had these once before at White Spot, they were great. I’m told by our Indian care aides that they are normally the diameter of a golf ball. These were the size of small grapes with lots of pea-sized pieces and a bit overcooked and greasy. I’m told to ask for bigger chunks next time. Overall I'm going back again to try some different things and...
Read moreFirst time ordered from this place and is definitely our last time. We ordered few dishes fish pakora, chicken pakora, naan and chicken dish. First of all they charged wrong price than what they listed on their menu and worse when we complained the lady admitted that we were right and that the price we are saying is on their menu. After speaking with the owner she comes out to tell us "yes, you saw correct price on our menu but our price is changed now, so why false advertising on menu. Oh because these were printed before, so reprint the menu. You can't charge consumer different price than you advertise. Is this so hard to understand?? Why do ppl ask for menu so they can see the dishes you offer and cost of each dish. I am so surprised about the response I received from the lady and she says that's what the owner told her to say. No responsibility taken whatsoever by the owner, no courtesy to come on the phone and try to resolve the issue. Dishonest management. The food: medicore, flavorless and cold naans. Asked the dishes to be spicy, they were mild. Not sure what all the rave is about their food in other reviews. Our experience was just a pure simple disappointment as far as the food taste goes and the professionalism of the management and dishonesty ofcourse is another story. Ripping customers off and not admiting it will not get you far.. too bad we actually wanted to support this new business but nope, not anymore. Better not waste your hard earned money where customer...
Read moreSo I had a late night craving for Butter Chicken, but all my usual places were closed. When I looked up this restaurant on Google, it said that they closed at 2:30am, which I found hard to believe. I called to ask about a couple different things, and he said he's closing in 5 minutes, that if I wanted to order, I had to do it right away. So I quickly placed my order through Door Dash, and jist ended up getting a small order of their Butter Chicken. It costed me an extra $10 after fees and tip, but WOW!!! This was 1 of the best BC I have ever had!!! (I've had it from about 5 different places in the last month or 2) Aside from the big piece of cardamom seed, this was AMAZING!!!! I also had received a salad, which I was told had lettuce and not cabbage, but it was actually cabbage and NOT lettuce, so that was a big disappointment! (THEY ARE NOT THE SAME THING!!!!) The flavor was to die for, which is why I still gave them 4 stars. I am excited to go back and try a couple of my other favorite Indian dishes!...
