Ok, I have been to many burger kings across Canada, but this location has problems. The order is usually wrong. Order a whopper with no pickles or onions, and of course, they put them on the burger. Add cheese, often no cheese. If you don't check your food before you leave, by the time you get home and figure out it's not your order or something is missing. If you call the site, you can only leave a voice mail. If someone does answer, they tell you someone will call back, and they don't. This is not the worst part. Last week, we bought several whoppers on Whopper Wednesday with fries and onion rings. First of all, the air is full of smoke, and it smells like old oil as if it had not been cleaned. The fries tasted like they were coated in an expired oily flavor. It took 15 minutes not just for me for my food but for every skip or door dash pickup person. The drive-through gets priority but not the people at the counter. Now I do have to say the people are nice and friendly. They are trying to get the orders together but either under staffed or just not paying attention to the order boards. When I say they get the order wrong, it's almost every time. At least the store is clean on our side of the country ter but we just could not stand the small stale oil in the air. I'm not sure, but it seems like maybe the oil is not fresh? Or the vents and the cooking area need a really good cleaning. I wish I could expect the order to be correct, but I can't, and I'm not the only person to report this. This store could be better but I think maybe a new manager or someone looking after a good maintenance to the store might bring us back. I'll tell you this, you walk into 5 guys, and it does not have any of the problems, and it doesn't smell. If they can do it, so can you. Please think of your customers. Read moreTwo friends and I went into Burger King at 10:15PM after a movie at Cross Iron and had to wait about 5 minutes to even be acknowledged. Once given service we were given dirty looks by the cashier when we told her we would like to eat in. The food took 10 minutes to receive which I wasn't upset about because I figured the food would be nice and hot; but somehow the fries were ice cold and so was the whopper. Once we were done eating at 10:40PM we went to go leave but the door was already locked and we couldn't figure out how to unlock it. We asked for some help and we were ignored by all three gentlemen working in the back and the two ladies that were working the front area prior, were nowhere to be found. So I called for a gentlemen's attention and told him we were trying to leave and he would need to lock the door after us. I am very disappointed in the service we received tonight. I've worked in the service industry before and under no circumstances should an employee be giving customers dirty looks or sighing in front of the customer, especially if there is still 45 minutes left in their night to service...
Read moreSo I am very sad to share this with all of you today. I went into the burgar king in Airdrie at 7:57 on September 14th 2020 to use the rest room and order food. Using the rest room first, i was rudley interrupted by a FEMALE staff member in the MENS washroom. I had just finished using the washroom and was washing my hands when this RUDE LADY came into the MENS bathroom while i was washing my hands in privacy. I felt VERY VIOLATED. Then it gets even worse. The female staff member had the audacity to yell at me in the mens washroom saying "Its closed how could you miss the sign that said closed cant you read?" THE SIGN THAT WAS ON THE FLOOR. So after feeling very embarrassed and insulted infront of everyone and being yelled at I walked out. This is not acceptable customer service no matter where you work.
