I absolutely LOVE a good burrito! The staff are generally friendly but not overly talkative. Perfect place for introverts to grab food but you might want to order it for delivery if you have noise sensitivity! There is a youngish woman there that I'm excited to see working when I go because she makes the best burritos! THANK YOU to her for always mixing the filling well! Perfectly swaddled bundles of joy this woman delivers to you! Avoid going when the tall guy and the angry older middle aged woman are working if you can. They are stingy on the toppings, don't mix the toppings well, and don't grill the burrito long enough.
Ordering Opinions: Definitely get rice, beans, and veggies if you like all of those things! Personally I don't love bell peppers so I don't get the veggies at the start. Both bean types are good so you can't go wrong with either choice! I always get the Carnitas meat which is amazing! My partner loves the Chorizo meat. You can add lettuce as a topping if you ask, they just keep it under the counter for space/temp reasons. I love corn, so I usually get double corn as a topping choice, but recently the corn hasn't been very good so I've been hesitant. The citrus slaw and pickled onions are good choices too. The Burrito sauce is great no matter what burrito you make! My partner loves the Habanero Garlic sauce. I usually go with medium salsa but the hot salsa isn't too bad if you like spice. They have a rotating menu each season which changes a couple of the toppings for some nice variety! Jarritos are the best thing under the sun! Amazing flavours to choose from! If you want a less sweet option Grapefruit and Tamarind are perfect! If you like sweet things then I'd definitely suggest Mango or Guava! Of course the classic cola is a must at some point in your Jarritos journey! The churros and dulce de leche were great when I had them a few years ago!
Suggestions: My only thought would be that the music is a bit overwhelmingly loud. This makes it hard to think when ordering and hard to hear the staff without both sides basically yelling. I love the music choices but maybe it could be turned down just a smidge for a more inclusive and stress free...
Read moreThis honestly upsets me to write this as I freaking love Mucho but last nights order left us extremely disappointed with customer service or lack there of I should say. We placed our order at 5:30pm. I kept checking my Uber Eats app for delivery time and it kept getting delayed, delayed and delayed. Finally, the last delay that said delivery was after eight we called to see what was going on and at the same time I’m on the phone with them, the Uber eats driver calls and says he’s there to pick up our order but they are closed and Mucho is stating someone came and picked our order up at 6:30pm and it was two orders….I only had placed one order and the Uber Eats app never updated to say that it was being picked up nor did we even have a driver assigned to pick up. The Uber delivery driver was just as confused as we are as they don’t have record of anybody picking up our order at 6:30pm. The fact that they took that long without any notification that they didn’t want to make the order, order was over $100, And then lied about it and said someone else picked it up?? Super freaking disappointed, and even though I love their food, I will never give them my money again. Shout out to Uber Eats For fully refunding our order and being diligent with handling...
Read moreWorst Burrito ever, as someone who is going to Mucho Burrito for over 10 years this was a very negative and disappointing experience. They charge extra $1.25 for salsa on the side which no other location does. This location is just greedy. When I told the cashier NEHA that I never got charged extra for the salsa she started showing me attitude. I said everything calmly and with a smile, didn’t raise my voice or anything but still got harassed by the employee by the way they were showing me attitude. Then I asked them to put my burrito for extra 10 seconds in the grill and she kept it for so long that it got burnt. When told her it is burnt she rolled her eyes and kind of rudely said you asked me to put in for extra time but I only asked for 10 seconds not minutes. Then she did make a new burrito but with so much arrogance and attitude. I felt unwelcome and uncomfortable. Please don’t work in customer service if you don’t want to deal with people. Also while wearing gloves she proceeded to clean the shelves and I have to ask to her to change the gloves. How can you clean the shelves while making food and use the same gloves.
