I've went here a ton, so I can confidently say they usually don't have food available when you arrive after 7 or so, expect to wait 10-15minutes. That's fine to me, but the worst part is the staff always looked annoyed and when they make mistakes, they'll be more annoyed at you trying to get it fixed. You are better off driving to Calgary instead.
Update: When I lived in Calgary I probably went to Popeye's once a week. This location has single-handedly helped me kick the habit. Once again they messed up my order, but instead of fixing it the completely unprofessional manager tried to gaslight me. Even after I spoke with the person who took my order and they admitted it was a mistake, the manager (who I did not order from) tries to come out and convince me I ordered wrong. It was the most insane restaurant experience I've had. Only after I said to just refund it did she reluctantly agree to fix the order... No apology, nothing about the fact I had to drive back to get the order fixed. Clearly I inconvenienced them by just wanting what I actually ordered.
I appreciate the owner responding, but frankly I don't need special treatment, all of the concerns I've noted regarding availability of food after 7pm and rude staff are still an issue 7 months later, so there's really nothing to discuss. Just look at all the negative reviews. Poor availability of items and extremely poor service. I can attest to this from multiple occasions.
I should have learned my lesson the first time I had to drive all the way back because of the mistakes here. Save yourself a headache and avoid...
Read moreDoors were closed at-least 40 mins before the closing time. I saw employees cleaning the floors so I knocked at the window. I was requested to order from drive through. My 6 and 3 year old got upset as they wanted to go inside. Went to order from the drive through and was told my order (Spicy Chicken) will take 15 mins; which I choose to wait for. They did give us the option for Mild Chicken which I choose not to take. While we were waiting for our order to come, atleast 3 groups came by and found the doors closed. They kept at looking at posted time and then time on their cell phones. 1 went next door to order pizza and rest of them left. They lost atleast 12 customers right in front of us in 15 mins. Who knows how many came before and after us who found the doors closed. I was happy that they made fresh chicken for us but the burger got cold as they might have made it earlier when I ordered. I had such good experiences at this location but this is very upsetting to find the doors closed before the closing time. Just to save $100 of labor they lost more than...
Read moreSo I don't normally rate restaurants because everyone has a good day and a bad day, but this place is ridiculous. Why? Because in the past two years I haven't waited less than 20 minutes for my food. The last three times i have been here they have run out of prepared chicken. Not something special like nuggets, or wings, or a sandwich. Just standard chicken. How does a chicken place even do that? As I sit here waiting for my food there are no fewer than 6 Uber/Skip drivers sitting waiting for their orders. This is beyond ridiculous. Ever. Single. Time. It's getting to the point that we brace ourselves when we go knowing there will be a wait.
Why do we keep coming back? Only Popeyes is Aidrie and my family loves the food. That and the fact they are always polite to me is the only reason they aren't getting 1 star. Food is still good. You just have to wait forever for it. They really need to figure out the logistics in...
