Do not recommend and management is a joke. Ordered on uber eats tonight was delivered and was missing 2 rice and 2 beans for our meals. I called and spoke to a staff member who stated she could remake the meals and I could pick it up. Upon driving all the way there to pick up the meals and give back the old now COLD meals I was told by the staff that she called her manager after she spoke with me and told me that he only approved her to replace the missing items and not the full meals. I was immediately angry as I drove all the way now with the meals cold to be told I am only going to have rice and beans replaced. I said that was her error stating that she would replace it before speaking to her manager and now after driving I’m left with three total meals that are fully cold and another 10 minutes to drive home. She said to submit it to uber I said you agreed to replace it that’s why I drove here and now you are saying you won’t. I showed her uber only offered 2 dollsrs for 4 items missing which is absurd! I asked her to call her manager back so I could speak to him. She did however he refused to speak to me - still refused to remake the meals and then she proceeded to hand me their email address. I am beyond pissed off. What a waste of my time and money. I was so excited that Chronic Tacos had reopened and regularly purchase in store and online however this is NOT the first time this has happened with uber orders however I have given grace in the past situations as it was usually just toppings on tacos missing or a side sauce not full parts of the taco meal! I will never ever return. Management is absurd and should do the right thing when their staff screw up! It’s not...
Read moreI want to share with you the calamity that was our first visit to Chronic Tacos Airdrie and probably last time. We pull into the parking lot that a large part of it was a thick sheet of ice. We carefully adventure over the ice into the store. We allow two men who came after us, to go ahead of us as this was our first time in store. So the two men order some steak burritos and beef tacos. The dimly lit worker (might of been high) takes the order and starts making the meals. When it comes time to put the meat on, says we dont have any steak...A older woman (maybe manager) says we dont have steak at this time (was 12 oclock) to which the man says “well that would of been useful information before you took my order” The lady rudely just responds again “we dont have steak, we have chicken.” The woman looks at the man like hes the rude one and they go back and forth to the original comment “that would of been useful information before you took my order.”
We decide to leave as this point as this was already a terrible experience and we didn’t even order yet.
We venture across the thick sheet of ice my car is parked on, notice the two men leaving their own selves, and two new men pull up in a truck. The driver gets out and immediately slips on the ice, and I think lost a tooth.
After this experience, I needer a beer so we went to CBH and that was that.

Read moreI had the pleasure of ordering a Carne Asada burrito, I asked for both refried and black beans and it was given an excellent portion of both, I paid the extra charge for guacamole which had pico de gallo mixed in and was not charged when I asked for a second scoop, and I was given a healthy portion of both hot sauces when I asked for two different kinds to sample, (pineapple habanero crema is delicious btw),
I was also interested in trying their queso so I ordered some to dip my burrito in, and was delighted to find that their queso was not the neon orange goop that most places claim is real cheese queso, but instead a rich, thick, white cheddar queso with real jalapeño mixed in.
I ordered a mexican coke to enjoy with my stacked burrito, (i chose Baja style with jalapeños for toppings) and when I dug in I was taken aback by how delicious the Carne Asada was. I spent the whole meal raving about the burrito to my family and had them try a bite, they all agreed that it was delicious and better than the others that we have tried at franchised restaurants.
The graphics on the walls were cool looking and the merch, specifically the shirts the employees wore were super cool, it felt like a locally owned shop keeping teenagers employed, and the TV was playing extreme sports like snowbiking and wingsuiting. Much to my dads delight.
