Went through the drive through, ordered 2 bacon deluxe grilled chicken sandwich combos and was directed to wait in a reserved parking stall for our food to be brought out, we parked at 8:35pm. After 5 minutes the runner came out with 3 bags of food and came to our vehicle first, asked us what we ordered and handed us 2 of the 3 bags to sort through and see if our items were in them (had us opening the burger boxes to check which I’m pretty sure is a huge no and a sanitation risk), our items weren’t in the bags. The runner asked us once again what we ordered and said our order wasn’t ready yet. He proceeded to the other waiting vehicle and handed that customer the bags that we had just dug through, chatted with the other customer about a missing item and then returned into the store with the 3rd bag (which I assume contained my order all along).
5 minutes after that, another runner came out with the missing item for the other customer and then returned to the store.
A couple minutes later another car pulled up and parked in a reserved delivery stall and was swiftly brought a coffee by a runner who again quickly returned to the store
At 8:55pm (20 minutes after we had parked) I entered the store to check the status of my order and they had the bag containing my order sitting under the warming lights. The shift/swing manager checked the sandwich boxes and found one sandwich had no chicken patty and asked the cook to prep one. I asked them how long the bag had been sitting under the warmers for and was told “a couple minutes”, I requested them to remake my order as it had been 25 minutes since we had made the order and I couldn’t take them at their word that the food had only been there “a couple minutes”. They did remake my order and that gets them at least a star despite the sandwiches looking like they came from Ikea and needed to be fully assembled when we opened the sandwich boxes when I got back to the car.

Read moreI'm sick and tired of this location. The quality and accuracy of the orders has seriously plummeted from what it once was. Today was the last straw (which I didn't get with my order). Simple order of 6 nugget meal with a medium ICED coffee and 2 donuts. Not only were the 2 donuts missing when I got home (yes, I should have checked the bag, even though that should be a customers job), but when they handed me the ICED coffee, there was NO ice. I brought it to their attention, they took it back and just dumped SO much ice in it, that the liquids were pouring out of the lid when they handed it back to me. Not only did I have to hang it out my window in front of the employee to drain all the coffee liquid oozing from the lid. He looked DUMBFOUNDED when I asked for napkins, as if he expected me to let it drip all over the inside of my car. On top of that, no straw in the bag for said drink.
The incompetency of the employees at this location baffles me. My orders are more often wrong than they are right, and I don't order complicated special requests.
I don't even want to get started on the making customers park in the parking lots to wait for FAST food. Some of the wait times are 15-20mins. That's just unacceptable. I know this is a choice management makes to make it look good in the books about how many customers per minute they are pumping through the drive through, but it's going to kill this locations business. I'm clearly not the only person who see's this based on others reviews.

I just went to the drive thru June 7 @ 4:40 pm After placing my order, I told the cashier that I wanted a separate order for drinks and I also wanted to use my code from the app to get the $ 1.00 Summer drink promotion and I told her that I wanted 3 drinks. She then told me that I can’t get 3 drinks from the code on the app, she said I could get 1 drink for a $ 1 plus the other 2 at the regular price. The amount that she quoted me for the drink was as per the regular price for all 3, so I told her that the amount she quoted is not correct and she said with a ton of frustration “I will just spot you for the drinks right now because I’m busy” and she shut the drive thru window 😤 My husband and I looked at each other in disbelief and we left, because I couldn’t believe that such a small thing could set someone off. I’m not sure if I was being a bother to her or what but I don’t think she is ready to deal with customers. Please send her home. She clearly doesn’t want to be there. Very rude!!!
After posting my review; I called the restaurant and spoke with the General Manager because I was just ticked off about the whole situation, and I told her about my experience and I described the employee as a blonde lady with her hair up in a ponytail and the General Manager said that she doesn’t have any employee there at the Edmonton Trail McDonald’s who fits that description🤔 So clearly my husband and I were speaking with a ghost, so that explains the reason why the customer service was...
