Subway — Restaurant in Airdrie

Stopped here for a quick lunch, ordered a 12" Club on White Bread.

Girl behind the counter sliced bread open asking what kind of cheese, I told her and she starts putting on the meat, first was Ham which had 2 slices side by side to one end leaving 1/3 of the other end with none, then put on some turkey which covered the whole sandwich so I didn’t say anything, then comes the roast beef again 2 slices spread out leaving a couple of inches between the middle and ends, so roughly 1/2 the sandwich has roast beef.

So I say wow you guys are really cutting back on the meat these days…….her response was sorry sir the slices came in smaller this time. So a little bewildered I said so smaller slices is the customers problem? She begrudgingly re-spaced out the roast beef and added a 3rd slice covering most of the sandwich.

Not sure what is going on here, but anywhere else you buy meat it’s by the weight, if you guys are getting smaller slices then you should maybe consider adding an extra slice or two to actually cover the sandwich instead of ripping the customer off? If I want extra meat I pay for it, if you are going to give me less meat I expect a discount as it’s a two way street!

Very disappointed with this place. First time my family ordered from here wasnt good, this past experience was even worse.

Do a delivery group order of 4 sub combos. 3 with Cookies, 1 with chips. When my order showed up the chips were missing from the order and I called to complain and got hung up on after calling three times.

When I show up at the location I am told no general manager number. So I ask for the owner, and an even younger (Mayve 16) employee approaches the counter and I tell her what happens have to show her the order on my own phone and the older employee goes "We gave them full order, not our responsibility". After about 5 mins of being there and threatening to leave reviews EVERYWHERE I finally get the chips I ordered plus extra to "keep quiet".

Once I got home, found out the subs were soggy, the sauces tasted like they were left out on the counter for days.

I live in the area and love subway. I would go here so often except that the staff are always horrible, the service is non existent and the ingredients always look sub par (get it?). I seriously love subway but every time I work up the nerve to give this location another chance I end up completely frustrated and disappointed. I have walked out of this location several times and I can't say I've ever really walked out of a restaurant before, especially not mid sandwich. While waiting at this location for more than twenty minutes for a sub during dinner hour, and being one of two customers in the store, I decided to get a drink and noticed they don't have bubbly as a pop option anymore. This was basically the only string holding me to the chain.
