Carl's Jr. — Restaurant in Alberta

We stopped here on Friday April 12,2024 and bought 3 grilled chicken burgers, all 3 were COMPLETELY undercooked and raw!!! We got it as take out and did not notice the raw burgers for about 20 mins and we had to stop on the side of highway 2 and puke it up so we didn't get severe food poisoning for our mountain weekend. It took over a week to get a response from the manager, his name is Asim all he did was apologize and offer us another free chicken burger! First off we don't live in Red Deer so I am not going to drive 90 mins to get a burger and I will NEVER eat a grilled chicken burger from there again! This is VERY dangerous protocols and I know for a fact that all 3 of us would have been VERY sick is we didn't throw up our food on the side of highway 2. STAY FAR AWAY from this place. He wouldn't even refund our money!!! What a joke. VERY BAD service from the manager and he won't return any of my emails after I refused the 'free' chicken burger. We just want...

Ordered 3 combo meals. When I took a bite of my burger, I realized there was very little toppings on it. Went to the counter and asked the lady (while showing her) for one more tomato slice and a few more pickles. Didn't think that was a big deal. She looks at me and asked why "I said, when I pay $10 for a burger, I expect to have some decent toppings. This wasn't good enough so she brought it up with her manager in the back. He comes out and asks me what's wrong, i explain again. He says, what I got is included in the price, and if i want more I'd have to pay for it. He says, "this time", he'll do it, but next time I'd have to pay. I told him there won't be a next time. After i sat down, a few minutes later, he comes with a container with toppings. On our way out, he caught my eye and apologized (he saw me take a picture of the burger). I said to him, maybe next time, don't make such a big deal if you're customer finds your portion...

Worst burger joint in town.

I have been here on several occasions and every, single time there is an issue. Consistently I am receiving the wrong items in my take out order. The staff are very unpleasant except for one young lady who’s usually inside. The majority of the staff can’t share a smile, can’t say thank you or you’re welcome. The drive thru is the slowest in town. My last visit I waited 9 minuets after ordering for one person ahead of me who when finally got their order it was just a drink and a small bag. There is absolutely a management issue and a lack of customer service. I will not go to Carl’s Jr. in Red Deer again.
